Cork’s Vienna Woods Hotel and Villas

I enjoyed my stay. Staff were friendly, helpful, efficient. The food was top class and I enjoyed a high standard of comfort, cleanliness, and pleasant surrounding decor in bedroom, dining, and restaurant. Set in lovely natural surrounds, overlooking the river. Great value too!

We stayed in Vienna Woods to celebrate our first wedding anniversary. From start to finish everything was perfect. The reservations team were super helpful even when we had to change our dates of staying. The lady on reception was lovely and we got the most beautiful room looking over the river and new gardens. The food as always was excellent and the restaurant staff were so kind and professional.

I could not praise the Vienna Woods more or give it a higher rating. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left we were treated so well. From reception staff, housekeeping, bar staff and dining staff, everyone was courteous and friendly. Our room was beautiful, spotless and the bed, so comfortable. The food, for dinner was exceptional and the setting just fabulous. Music in the bar was lovely, breakfast the following morning was lovely. The lady at checkout (from Cork?) was super friendly and lovely. A very memorable style. We will be back.

The location and parking was easy to
Access, the turn into the location was very hard to turn into , when coming from the cork side of town , the layout of the hotel was good and the dining areas was easy to find , the evening meals were very tasty and the breakfast was excellent and served by a very pleasant American lady , The beds were comfortable and the rooms were cosy ,
The cleanliness was excellent overall , some of the exhibitors there had a problem getting the heating working in their rooms and it was cold in there
The lady at reception was lovely .
Overall the hotel was very nice and friendly and I would have no problem staying there again

My wife and myself spent one wonderful night in the Vienna Woods Hotel. From the moment we arrived, every member of staff was super friendly and really professional. The room was spacious and spotlessly clean, food was excellent, we can't wait to return.

We recently has a fabulous overnight stay with dinner and breakfast. Everything about the hotel was superb from the welcoming, friendly staff to the delicious food, truly a relaxing stay. We look forward to returning in the future.

Where to begin! From the moment we met Laura we knew it was the only place for our big day. Laura made the whole planning process so easy and was always there to answer any questions or queries we had. Every single staff member went above and beyond for us. From Michael Magner to Seamus, Gerard, Andrea and Thomas to name a few. Whether it was accommodating early check-in, assisting our family, or making sure we had everything we needed, they did it all with big smiles and such positive energy. It truly felt like they were celebrating right alongside us. You all made our day extra special. Every single guest at our wedding has been raving about Vienna woods, the food, the staff and the overall experience and many have said it was the best wedding they had been at to date. That is down to all of you!
We truly couldn’t have chosen a more perfect place for our wedding day. From the moment we arrived, the entire team made us feel incredibly special and celebrated. Every detail was handled with such care, professionalism, and genuine warmth.

We last stayed in Vienna Woods Hotel in February 1976 while on our honeynoon !
To celebrate our 50th Wedding Anniversary on Valentines Day this year we decided to stay again and we were not disappointed. While the hotel has been extended there is a fabulous mix of old and new. The staff were all great and couldn't have looked after us any better. The welcome at reception was really good and the treats in our room were much appreciated. Menu and dinner was first class and we were looked after by fabulous staff for dinner and breakfast. We can't wait for our next visit.
Five stars from both of us ! Cost was very reasonable also!

Wonderful staff and very spacious extremely clean rooms! Great food, ambiance and cocktails!

We had a wonderful time, we had our dog with us and she was so welcome with a dog bed and bowl provided in our bedroom, the room was fabulous as were all the staff and the food was amazing, and we can’t wait to go back there again asap

Excellent service right from check in to dinningroom. The staff made our break away memorable.We had the disabled unit and it was really nice and comfortable, it had two bathrooms,one a wet room and mine had shower and bathtub.Food was great best seafood risotto ever.

Saving grace is the staff. Other than that terrible. Function room is beside the reception and so noisy. Bar is beside tge Function room. Impossible to talk. 20 minutes to get checked in because it was busy and only one poor girl on reception. Food last orders are at 8.30. Will not return.

Fantastic few days away. Professional, incredibly friendly and welcoming staff. Nothing was too much trouble in any area. Great value for money. Beautiful breakfast, excellent quality products. Same at dinner. Home from Home. Kelly, Bala, all bar, waiting and reception staff go over and beyond their duties. Outstanding service. We received a great welcome to Cork ✨️✨️

Vienna woods is a stunning hotel, the views are amazing the staff are absolutely wonderful so accommodating and professional. We had our wedding here January 2025 and it was just the most amazing day thanks to the hotel and the staff were couldn't have asked for anything better and we just went back for 2 nights for our anniversary. They had congratulations balloons in the room and cookies. The food is incredible. 5 stars ⭐... I would highly recommend it to people. I still have people that comment on my wedding last year every time I meet them and people still raving about the food.

Facility is poorly maintained, disappointing service from bar & restaurant staff. Such issues can be resolved through a preventative maintenance routine and improved & regular staff training.

We’d like to say a big thank you to all the staff at the Vienna Woods Hotel for the excellent service and warm hospitality during our recent stay. Chandimal and the Vienna Woods team were incredibly supportive when we organised a family gathering and meal. The setting was very comfortable, and we felt very well looked after by everyone, looking forward to visiting again in the future!

Just had a lovely breakfast with our family at Vienna Woods, 14 of us around one table. Lovely decor for Christmas, lovely food with great variety, staff couldn't have been nicer, children were so welcome. Really recommend supporting this lovely hotel.

I attended a corporate Christmas function recently and decided to stay over in the hotel. I have been going to this hotel for functions and meals for almost 40 years and there has been a lot of investment and improvements in recent years particularly in the function room and adjoining room. My visit did not get off to a great start as there was no hot water available in my room apparently due to an issue with the boiler.
Our meal was ok - the starter and main course were good - served piping hot and was tasty but the desert was really disappointing and had the look and taste of a shop bought desert.
My other big issue was that my room was very cold when I retired for the night and there was no means to turn on or up the heat.

we got an upgrade to a beautiful room, staff so friendly, especially in restaurant, dinner and breakfast was amazing, location perfect for a quiet weekend away
