The Walled off Hotel Paris

Great little Banksy inspired hotel, with his art in every room, and a great display in reception. Great, central location which ideal for walking around the city.

Personal super. Lage auch einwandfrei. Sauberkeit und Zustand liesen sehr zu wünschen übrig. Schimmel im Bad, keine richtig schließende Toiletten Tür, bei ankauft Staub auf dem Boden

amazing stay, characteristic hotel in a great location where we walked to all the main attractions plus restaurants/bakeries. room was clean and comfy, no aircon wasnt a problem in 30° heat due to fan and staff were so friendly!! they let us keep our bags there after checkout for no additional charge too which was lovely!

Je m’attendais à une expérience atypique, pas convaincue du tout. Prix très excessif pour le niveau de service : pas de climatisation, fenêtre qui ne ferme pas, beaucoup de bruit pour les chambres donnant sur la rue, décoration minimale, les lampes de chevet ne marchait pas, dans la douche avec bcp de traces de moisissures eau alternativement brûlante ou froide sans changer l’orientation, pas de pression d’eau. Personnel gentil.

Il m'a été utile de pouvoir entreposer mes bagages avant l'enregistrement.

la TV de ma chambre ne fonctionnais pas malgrès un changement de télécommande.
L'ascenceur s'entends dans la chambre dès qu'il est fonctionnement. L'entrée de la douche est très étroite.

I loved this hotel & will be back regularly.

We stayed here twice in October, on our train travels round France. The first time they messed up our booking and gave our "superior" room to someone else(!), leaving us with a smaller "standard" room. They offered us free entry to the Banksy museum as an apology but we didn't have time to do it, so a bit of a disappointment there. The bathroom also had a bad smell that first time. BUT the beds were comfortable, the Banksy theme was fun, the prices weren't too bad, the location was really handy for Gare du Nord, the staff were friendly and the ethos of the place seemed good.

Our second visit was much better - they hadn't given our room away this time(!) and the bad bathroom smell was gone. Also, we had been a bit freaked out by the massive media hype about bedbugs in Paris, so were relieved to find this place was completely bedbug-free :) Which is probably true for most Paris hotels (the whole thing seems to be exaggerated really) but was still very much appreciated by us on this occasion...!

Strange hotel, definite 'youth hostel' vibe in our dusty small room with a door to the bathroom that would not close.

Worst part was this is part hotel / part 'Banksy' museum with exhibits in other bedrooms on the same floor as guest rooms. There are random people walking the guest floors, regularly trying to open doors to see if it's part of the exhibition or not! No good for safety or privacy.

Very, very basic with minimal amenities in the room. No safe in room or reception didn't helpt with the public accessibility issue above.

Positive aspects it was quiet (facing away from street) when not museum visiting hours, area around good for food and walking distance to Monmatre and central Paris.

Buyers remorse - was similar price to more conventional hotels we wish we had picked.

My wife enjoyed her stay at the Walled Off Hotel. She found the staff very helpful, the room very clean and in a very convenient location.

bonne adresse pour point de chute pour une nuit.

Sdb et WC commun étroits et peu propres.
On paie visiblement plus pour le nom de l'hôtel que pour le confort et la propreté.
Service très agréable cependant.
