Property Description

Prentiss House is the revival of the former Mary Prentiss Inn, a 20-room inn built in 1843, nestled between Harvard and Porter Square. Upgraded with modern amenities, fresh interior design and technology enhancements, it marries rich history and charm with comfort and convenience, with a lush garden terrace and a sun-filled parlour lounge.

We use a keypad as a method to check-in. Please ensure you have provided your email address. You will receive your unique door code from Thatch two days prior to your arrival. Guests are required to show a photo ID and credit card upon check-in. Please note that all Special Requests are subject to availability and additional charges may apply.

I love Historic Houses.
Pros:

Another wonderful stay!
I have stayed at Prentiss House many times before, and my visit this past week was just as enjoyable as the others. The historic house is nestled on a quiet residential street, yet it is highly convenient—well within walking distance of the Porter Square T station, great local restaurants, and shops. The digital keyless system worked perfectly, allowing smooth entry through both the front door and my unit door. I always look forward to returning to this location and hope to be back soon.

Cons:

Room 6 had a problem with hot water in kitchen sink and bathroom sink (hot water perfectly fine in shower) Prentiss House will address for next guest.

Prentiss House - A Cosy Stay
Pros:

The location of Prentiss House was super convenient. I also liked the affordability of the rental property.

Cons:

The stairs were extremely steep. I was afraid that I would fall down on them.

Pros:

Si vas a Harvard, la ubicación es excelente.
Los cuartos están bien para simplemente dormir.

Cons:

El código se desprograma y no responden al teléfono. Esperamos casi 1 hora afuera hasta que otro huésped salió de la casa. No hay personal, no hacen el aseo. No hay soporte. El baño "pegosteoso". Pareciera un hotel manejado por una IA. Solo había una señora enojada limpiando áreas comunes.

The perfect hotel in Cambridge next to Harvard University
Pros:

An old and beautiful house that has been renovated perfectly. You feel the spirit of the past!
Very clean, very stylish, excellent location, lovely courtyard for morning free coffee and afternoon rest. Highly recommended!

Pros:

Clean, large and great location

Cons:

Self check in is not self explanatory, would be nice to know up front. That being said staff were very attentive when questions arose
