It is very well located, the room is big and confortable, clean and new. We loved it. We wish the comun areas were a little bit warmer so we could enjoy them more. I highly recomend this place
Close to the 87.
I have been staying at this hotel for YEARS. I cannot believe how rundown this place has become. The rugs are stained through out the hallways along with room furniture falling apart. The shower was repaired with a huge patch and the tub floor was squishy. The hairdryer didn’t work and the bathroom mirror was scratched up.
I would say this place is in dire need up many updates and smelled of tobacco and marijuana. It was pretty shabby.
The house is quaint, the room comfortable and roomy and the common areas were very inviting.
Nespresso maker did not work well for me. It seemed to only work with certain pods.
Nice location, nice house
The toilet clogged up and was unusable. Was able to speaker to a team member on the emergency line but all they did was apologize and ask me to use the plunger in the bathroom! It wasn’t even the right plunger. Had to use the lobby bathroom. They agreed to do a full refund and waiting for it. No one called to check in or follow up. Very disappointed.
Checkout time was unreasonably early and it was ridiculous our request to extend it was denied.
Fabulous location , beautiful historic Inn, well appointed rooms and common areas. Lovely!
Although not having an onsite reception felt a little odd, staff were very responsive via email. I look forward to returning.
The location and lobby of the house were nice. Walking distance from the train
On our 3rd night, the power went off in our room only. We called the emergency line and they were offshore phone operators and didn’t have the correct instructions for us to reset the circuit breakers. They tried to get ahold of management and no one answered. We were forced to get a new hotel room at midnight because the room was freezing. The bathtub also did not drain even after cleaners came to unclog it. The HVAC was awful and our door lock didn’t work. This is an older house but these are all things that can be updated for guest comfort. We received a refund for the nights we had to switch hotels, but they refused to compensate us for the high price of the other hotel that we were forced to book at midnight due to their negligence. I love inns but would not stay here again.
Everything was wonderful: the room, the cleanliness, and the location. They also always had coffee and tea available for guests.
The only difficult thing was contacting the property. Several times, I asked them to text me through WhatsApp because I didn’t have Messenger available. It never happened, so some of my last inquiries went unanswered
Location , history of the property
No room service , seems like left alone , dirty , room carpet smells , no housekeeping , door codes not working properly, bathroom air circulation fan panel hanging from the ceiling, total disaster
We will never recommend and from money perspective completely rip off and super expensive.
You can fetch 5 star hotels in the same area of Cambridge with value .
Excellent location, comfortable and clean, nice outdoors area. Good comms prior to arrival.
Some USB sockets in bedroom area would have been great.
We loved the location, the ice machine (a novelty to a Brit) and the privacy.
We stayed for 5 nights and didn’t have a single clean in our bedroom, despite requesting one. For a self-catering studio this was a little challenging. Apparently if we had stayed an extra night that would have been included. I probably should have assumed there would be that service.
The whole place is quiet, clean and secure. It is near restaurants. The staff are also very nice.
There’s no elevator for big luggages. It would be better to request for a ground floor room if you have big luggages.
