Good location and room with view but let down by poor staff
Pros:

Room very pleasant.
View.

Cons:

Staff not really well trained.
No one offered to help with our bags and we are elderly.
We were expected to know where all the facilities were but it is not very clear.
The pool bar never opened despite the literature telling us it did open late spring and summer.
Breakfast was disgusting.
Congealed scrambled eggs and very greasy bacon.
We were looked at with suspicion by the man in charge of the cafeteria who could not muster a smile or a friendly greeting.
The waiter in the restaurant was slightly bauseetter but also reluctant to be pleasant or smile.
Maybe they hate their jobs.
It is a pity because a 5 star hotel should have really well trained staff and the location and room were ideal.

Las vistas y el estilo del hotel. Seria de cinco estrellas hace mas de veinte años

Cons:

No se corresponde con un hotel de cinco estrellas, la limpieza en zonas comunes brilla por su ausencia, ascensores llenos de telarañas, piscina igual, las sombrillas rotas, las paredes sin pintar... podría decir mil cosas! Pero lo peor de todo y que no hemos visto nunca en un hotel de cinco estrellas, es una maquina de cafe en el desayuno, no son capaces de poner ni una jarra de cafe ni de leche, pero cobran a 24 euros por persona... un desproposito

Super location, very comfortable, and very good value.
Pros:

Excellent position just outside Toledo, with a beautiful view from the large terrace of the old town.
The room was large and spacious, extra large comfy bed, and large bathroom.
I was not hungry following a substantial evening meal, so I didnt take breakfast in the morning. However my wife raved about the hot and cold selection, eating my share as well, no doubt !!
There was a good sized outdoor pool for guests to use.

Cons:

Poor wifi in the bedrooms, but ok in public areas.

Hotel was great. I travelled with a large Dobermann dog and I had a ground floor room with access to a lovely garden area. Perfect for the dog.

Cons:

Long distance from reception to room carrying luggage with a dog on a leash. Not a huge problem through.

Este hotel de 5 estrellas merece 2. Sinceramente es un hotel que quiza en su dia lucio como uno de 5 estrellas, pero ahora parece un albegue de muebles y decoracion que se hayan retirado de varios edificios. Las zonas comunes se ven muy usadas, sin ningun tipo de decoracion coherente, los cristales de zonas comunes y habitaciones estan sucisimos
