Stay away from room 109 especially if you have allergies or sensitivities to smell. The smell of mold is beyond subtle and like nothing I have experienced in other hotels. If we hadn't just driven for 10 hours and got in late we would have asked to have the room switched. We went to sleep thinking the a/c would take care of the smell but it remained pretty intense and horrible. Even with allergy meds I woke up horribly congested.
Also the room shares a wall with the lobby bathroom so every flush was echoing against the headboard. And finally there is a lightshow in the bathroom anytime you turn the light on. I've been to other Hamptons and never experienced this before which is why I booked here, but wow this my worst hotel experience ever.

I was trying to sleep in the hotel. There was a loud noise that disturbed my sleep throughout the whole night. It sounded like a large vacuuming sound or air pressure sound in the pipeline. I looked out the peep hole no one was there cleaning. I never found out the source of the noise. Upon checking out of the hotel. I requested a printout receipt. The hotel overcharged me. I was told that everyday price increases. I enformed them, I booked through booking.com at a set price, and what it stated the charge should be. Thankfully, they did reimburse me. Communication needs to be better between hotels and booking agents. So, service will go much smoothly for customers.
the location was good. Easy to get to.
The Bathroom toilet and shower were dirty. I went to the front desk to ask for house keeping to clean the bathroom and was told they don't come in til 8:30. I explained i needed to get on the road I was driving to Massachusetts because my Mother was very sick. The lady at the front desk asked the other lady if she should go clean it and she told her she could not leave the front desk. So I said that means if I don't clean it I can't shower and the response was if you don't mind cleaning it. I was not offered any compensation or even an apology for the dirty bathroom. I always stay at Hampton Inn and suites when i travel this is the first time I have had a problem and am disappointed in the way it was handled. Will not return to this particular Hotel again.
