The management of this location is very bad. They have a sign up that says Lobby open 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. but they themselves are not there. They have a phone outside the door that you can call if the door is locked and they may or may not answer. And even if they do they won't be there right away. I wanted to check in just a bit early (not REALLY early) and they still did not have any rooms ready till 3:30 (1/2 before check in) and that was only after getting them about it (there was only one maid I saw). They simply aren't staffing the place and cutting cost corners that way. I was rudely treated by the woman checking me in. I will never go back. The room was OK. But that is all. The views are great but I still won't go back.

But when I booked the room it wasn't the right room and the front moved me to the correct room for a small fee. It was the perfect birthday weekend getaway!
Not much if a breakfast.
Location and view
Property is is old. Floor’s creek so make sure you get a top floor room. If you don’t you will listen to your neighbors all night walking around. Left over dirty towels from previous occupants in the bathroom and hair dryer didn’t work.
Great ocean view, Friendly staff, plenty of parking, super comfortable bed.
Location and view are the best in Depot Bay
Location, location, location! What a great spot! Continental Breakfast could use an upgrade, but beyond that we had a pleasant stay. Heavy feet above us until 1 am kept me awake...

The location offered a view of the ocean across the street through the trees.

Staff was friendly, easy check in, room was clean, bed very comfortable, fireplace & great view!
Bathroom not clean, had to wait 15 minutes last check in time. Very noisy from traffic and within the hotel.
This is older motel but updated and you can see the whales with binoculars. The whale center is down the street.
Too many rainy pour down days. the whales were there I could see them from the balcony with binoculars.
Our 2nd time at this Travel lodge and it will be our last. In a nutshell the lady that checked us in was rude, the room was not clean (found a large toe nail from a dog. We did not bring our pets) the 2 small tables were falling apart. My husband tighten the screws. The queen size bed was actually a full size bed and very uncomfortable. The chair was very uncomfortable. Curtain rod was not attached to part of the wall. Our room was connected to the office with a connecting door so the light under the door was on at 5:30 and we could hear all the conversations. We left a day early. Given it s 2 star was being generous. Time to contact Wyndham, this place is giving them a bad name.
The Travel Lodge in Depoe Bay has all remodeled, and updated, rooms. They are clean and the beds are comfortable. The gals at the front desk are always friendly, helpful, and polite. Both the second and third floor rooms have wonderful views - but the 3rd floor views are spectacular!!!!Great Place to Stay in Depoe Bay
