The Lodge at Bodega Bay

Good location, good view

The location was perfect and the property felt so relaxing. We loved the feel of the lobby/lounge as well. Drake’s was a wonderful restaurant to the hotel.

Bodega Bay Lodge is our favorite place. We have gone back again and again. It is truly a lovely resort with excellent service. This was the first time we stayed when they were maxed out. Our room wasn't ready. Breakfast in-room was 45 minutes not 20, and we had an issue with how we were charged. We had a wet stain on the rug from the previous occupants. The staff wrote a personal note, brought towels, a lovely bottle of wine, and some chocolates. We do think this is a wonderful place!

Clean room, good location

Truly a memorable stay. Staff was so welcoming and really knew what they were doing and were exemplary. The check in by Hannah was smooth and she genuinely engaged with us and had great conversational skill and wit above and beyond the usual process. Tom from the Drake Restaurant was always attentive and warm. Both of them really made a difference to the stay.

We stayed at The Lodge at Bodega Bay for our honeymoon and it did not disappoint! We loved EVERYTHING. They had bikes, binoculars, board games, a nature walk, coffee, sparking lemonade, s'mores, an amazing pool/hot tub, and robes and slippers! The location was perfectly central to everything we wanted to see/do/eat in Bodega Bay. The room was spacious and clean and guest services was very helpful and friendly!

This was our first trip to The Lodge at Bodega Bay, but it won't be our last. Everything was exceptional: the setting, the food, the room and the service. Can't wait to come back.

We had a romantic little getaway here… just an hour from home, so we’ll definitely be returning! Everything about the place was wonderful and exceeded our expectations, including the restaurant. Highly recommend!

The Lodge at Bodega Bay was exceptional to helping us celebrate our anniversary!!! There was a bottle of wine in our room with gourmet chocolates accompanied by a fire log to burn in our room fireplace, Staff provided exceptional service with every request we made immediately. They were genuinely focused on making our stay one we will always remember and treasure!

Entire hotel needs updating. Room is just dated. Expensive for what it is.
Would not stay there again unless they update rooms, lodge, and restaurant

My partner and I went for a little staycation. The people at Bodega Bay Lodge were all so kind. The grounds and room were well kept. We enjoyed the fireplace and playing bocce! We had drinks at the bar one night and then dinner the second, the halibut dish was Devine! We can't wait to return!

The Lodge at Bodega Bay was exceptional in all ways. It's a beautiful setting, the views are amazing. Our room was spacious, the deck off of our room was lovely, the bed was extremely comfortable. We had two meals on site, dinner upon arrival and breakfast the next morning. The pool and hot tub were perfect, with gorgeous views. We really loved the cool breeze off of the bay.

Perfect place to stay in Bodega Bay. Have stayed here numerous times over the years. The rooms are large and immaculate, and the beds are comfortable and the food at the restaurant is awesome. Oh and you have access to Doran Beach and there are so many beaches along that stretch of highway 1. Like I said; perfection.

This was such a romantic and relaxing getaway for me and my boyfriend. We celebrated our 8 year anniversary here. The hotel was very spacious and clean. The amenities were really nice. The guest services were excellent. The view was breathtaking. We ate dinner at Drake’s. The food was very delicious and well prepared. I would absolutely book here again!

Beautiful lodge in a beautiful setting. Although the lodge was fairly full, the room felt very private and quiet. Excellent bed. Friendly, helpful staff.

I love this place. My family has been going here since before I was born in the 90s when it was a best western! (I think) anyway, my mom and I have been coming here every summer to escape the Sacramento heat and she just passed away in March, so this was my first solo trip. It was HARD, but the whole staff was as usual welcoming and kind and loving to me. One of the girls from Drake’s brought me a slice of cake (for free) after she dropped off my room service and heard about my mom. It made me cry such happy tears. It was beyond kind for her to go out of her way to do something like that. Thank you! This hotel is the best.

Lovely hotel in a fantastic location with attentive and caring staff. I had a lovely time and look forward to my next stay.
