Holiday Inn Manchester-Central Park by IHG

Hotel closed without notifying us. We turned up and the hotel was closed. We were then fined £100 for being in their car park whilst arranging alternative accommodation.

Simple, above average and very convenient place to stay for a couple of days.

Staff were very efficient, but also very pleasant and helpful. Perfect combination.
Breakfast was very good - the usual HI buffet, well cooked, but never overcooked. Great choice. Good sty. We would return.

Got room service, they forst gave me the wrong thing and also overcharged me for it and told me I could get refunded at reception, then at reception they said as the people who were workingthe night before had gone home they couldn't do anything.
Extremely disappointing to be forced to pay for something I didn't want

The check in was extremely slow, about 25 minutes total, the guy on reception kept helping other people while serving us which left us stood there for ages at midnight tired not behind helped. The room was dirty, I moved one of the twin beds over to make a double and it was filthy underneath. There were hairs in the bath and drains and the room was very dated.

After a long journey we got disturbed twice with loud knocking on our door, complained and nothing was resolved

Our stay at the holiday in was 5*. The room was clean and had all the facilities we needed. The staff on reception were very helpful and accommodating. Parking was onsite and not expensive. It was only 5 mins walk from the nearest tram stop and 2 miles into Manchester itself. Overall very happy and would stay here again.

Bathroom drain was chocked and water smelled like coming from a gutter

Good stay. Not luxury but good for a couple nights. Not far from the city but bus and taxi is a bit pricey so consider that if you are travelling into the city each day of your stay.

Rooms a little shabby and could do with an upgrade. The shower was hot and powerful although the fixed shower head is always a let down.

That said..The staff... Superb in all departments, bar, restaurant and reception all get 5 *... Would return.

Overall, area is not very close to the happening spots in the city. The hotel room was decent. However, the room service dining options were very limited and there was an extra charge to get food delivered in the room so we picked it up from the ground floor - kind of defeats the purpose of room service, if you ask me.

Very efficient and friendly check in and given all the essential information.Very comfortabe bed with good linen.Breakfast was very good with a sekection to suit most people.

Great stay for one night 30 mintue walk to the city center, but yeah was really comfortable and felt welcomed aswell

Nice hotel with clean rooms. Reception staff were very helpful and polite. Theres a £5 charge for parking, which surprised me. But, I would recommend this place.

I was disappointed that I got charged to park my car over night even though I was a guest not good at all really

The hotel was clean and the room was spacious and comfortable. The bed was very comfy and afforded a good sleep over the weekend.
