Hotel Royal Saint Honore Paris Louvre

We did not get to stay at this hotel. We made the reservations in January but in the end of March we were notified that they decided to have a total renovation and our reservation was moved to an neighboring hotel namely the Renaissance Paris Vendome Hotel, supposedly with the same amenities and the same kind of room - boy were we for a supprise upon arrival!

The property was nice, clean and comfortable. For our purposes of visiting Paris sites Louvre, Eiffel Tower and all other points it was walkable or a short Metro ride so the Hotel is in a great location. However the ring that stood out was the front desk staff Eric (concierge) Morgan and Killian made our stay so enjoyable it exceeded our expectations. Thanks very much to the staff and management

From the moment the doors swung open, Hôtel Royal Saint Honoré welcomed us with effortless elegance and genuine warmth. The team anticipated every need with a smile, the dining was a delight at every turn, and our spacious, immaculately kept room felt like a private haven of luxury and comfort. Perfectly positioned within easy walking distance of Paris’s finest sights, it made our stay both relaxing and delightfully adventurous. We can’t wait to be back and experience it all over again!

The hotel boasts an excellent location with convenient access to the metro, making it easy to explore the city. Many iconic landmarks—Place de la Concorde, Les Tuileries, the Louvre, Opéra Garnier, La Madeleine, and the grands magasins—are all within walking distance. The rooms are spacious and well-appointed, offering ample wardrobe and cabinet storage. The on-site restaurant is also a highlight, serving a delicious breakfast as well as full meals throughout the day.

The staff were so accommodating to us which was incredibly kind since we had flown all night from the US. Everyone was so kind and went out of their way for us. The beds were so comfortable. Great location. Beautiful French charm!

Excellent staff and service

The hotel is very cosy and close to Rue de Rivoli, public transport, and supermarkets.
We had a few issues with our stay (A/C not cooling, dripping shower head), which were all fixed within the hour. All in all, we very much enjoyed our stay.

Great location! Many attractions and the train are within walking distance. My daughter and I stayed here for 4 nights in April. The staff were friendly and we felt very safe. I would stay here again as a great base for exploring Paris!!

Lovely hotel with great staff

My friends and I had the triple room, and we were pleasantly surprised about the size of the room. Very spacious and comfortable even with 6 pieces of luggage. The best about this hotel was the staff, so helpful and friendly. Can’t say enough good thing about them. Also, loved the location, walking distance to lots of landmarks and shopping. Will definitely come back.

This hotel was lovely. Our room was perfect for a family of three, with a second floor living room that was easily converted to a second bedroom. With a small child who is a picky eater, it was also very nice to have a mini fridge for a few extra snacks for him.

The hotel could be much better. Staff at the reception are very helpful…but we saw the cleaner in our room cleaning the toilet with gloves and, with the same gloves, washing the coffee cups. Since then we couldn’t use them anymore and we avoided the restaurant as well. Our room was at first floor and the corridor to get there was very badly smelly…not sure why. Apart this, it’s in a perfect position to visit the city, and near to the Louvre museum and yellow line of the underground and so much more…

Room needed updating. The furniture was very old and rundown.

Just a perfect property all-round enjoyed it in a great area convenient to all Metro down the road taxis at the front etc. Perfect.

Great location

Location, location, location!
The hotel is in an excellent spot—close to major attractions and just steps from the metro, making it easy to get around. The continental breakfast (included in our rate) was a nice bonus.

Rooms: The room was small but had a comfortable bed and a surprisingly spacious bathroom. Unfortunately, the bathroom had some mold issues. Closet space was limited, even in a superior room. There was also a safe, which was a convenient feature.

We stayed for seven nights. On one occasion, we returned from a full day out around 6 PM to find our room hadn’t been cleaned. We had to wait in the lobby for 30 minutes while housekeeping took care of it. There was no apology, and the concierge’s only suggestion was to request cleaning service the following day—not exactly what we expected in terms of service.

Overall, this is a basic 3-star hotel with a prime location and a few shortcomings in service and maintenance.

This is an older boutique hotel. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The steam rooms and pool were most enjoyable. It is close to the Metro stop and Tuilleries Jardin as well as close to many sites and restaurants. I highly recommend this hotel.

We stayed in this hotel for the 4th time. Really like it - staff are great, rooms are lovely and it is in an excellent location. No lounge area, though.
