Chaotic and erratic check-in process.
Pros:

The building in which Aram Kerasi is located is very central. It takes less than 5' walk to get into Istiklal Caddesi. Very strategically located.

Cons:

The room was nice and clean, but access to the property was not well coordinated. There is no permanent staff at the reception, so entrance/access details are shared by the owner on WhatsApp (through the number provided during the booking process). My phone did not work in the days of the booking so I did not receive the customary messages then. I was contacted the day of my arrival, via Booking.com (email notification), to which messages I immediately answered via email. I did not receive the access details, therefore upon arrival the door was locked and not having internet I would have been locked out had it not been for another Guest who happen to exit at the moment of my arrival. Once inside, I managed to speak to a Housekeeping individual who called the Management, who (over the phone) very adamantly insisted on the fact that details were circulated but not delivered because my WhatsApp did not work. Overall, it was a chaotic and mechanical check-in process, which I did not enjoy. Therefore, apologies in advance, but I cannot rate my stay highly, nor recommend booking here.

Pros:

I liked the communication - George was easy to get in touch with, I appreciate that. Good value and flexible.
It was cool that there was a sink with a soap, a fridge, even a microwave and a hot plate. The shower was HOT, and it was warm inside. I also was happy the windows opened - it was nice to have some fresh air.
Bonus: AMAZING kebab places next door.
The bed was comfy - so lots to like about this place!

Cons:

It was a bit far from the metro to my taste. Since I had 2 heavy bags and were traveling alone, the getting to the place was challenging - but if you're traveling by taxi, it's a good location coz it's less busy and more local then Taksim hotel area where I normally stay. If you decide to get lost in the area, lots of adorable street art to take photos of.

Excelente combinación de precio y calidad
Pros:

El hotel excelente está situado en una calle tranquila. Cerca de la calle Istiklal, con boutiques y restaurantes, se puede caminar hasta la torre de Gálata. Vivíamos en una habitación de dos habitaciones equipada con una pequeña cocina con relleno. Habitación limpia, camas grandes con colchones cómodos. El propietario del hotel responde rápidamente a todas las solicitudes. Se puede reservar un Servicio de traslado. Recomiendo este hotel.

A clean, cozy and affordable place with a great host perfect for group trips!
Pros:

I stayed here with 8 of my friends visiting from different countries, and it was one of my best trips ever. The rooms were super clean, comfortable, and well equipped for the price. The location was great, and the hotel owner was a very nice and helpful guy.

Cons:

The only downside was that there was no elevator, which made it a bit difficult for my friends staying on the upper floors.

Great Value for Money
Pros:

It was good for the price. The room and the washroom were clean. It's pretty basic room and fulfils the purpose. The host was nice as well and they kept our bags even after the checkout. The location was the best.
