A good, economical place to stay in Dresden.
Pros:

The Reception staff were very helpful, friendly and spoke perfect English. The hotel was quiet, and I was given a quiet room as requested. You can still view the landscapes of the Altstadt as the lifts and stairs have a front view with opening windows to allow photography. About 25 minutes walk to the main station, through the Altstadt, and very close to the river steamships.

Das Hotels Am Terrassenufer hat seinen Namen zurecht , man hat einen Panoramablick auf die Elbe und in die Stadt von Dresden, einfach schön anzusehen. Es ist verkehrstechnich gut gelegen, man kommt gut in die Innenstadt.

Cons:

Reist man mit einem eigenen Auto an, hat man das Problem dort keinen hoteleigenen Parkplatz vorzufinden, man muss sich die Parkfläche wenn vorhanden, mit den Anwohnern teilen.

Pros:

Fußläufig in ein paar Minuten in der tollen Altstadt mit guten Restaurants. Tolle Aussichten über die Elbe. Wer Zeit hat, kann am Fluß picknicken wie es viele Menschen getan haben bei dem schönen Wetter.

Cons:

Alles gut. Zimmer sind etwas älter, jedoch sauber, und das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis passt. Wer nur einen kleinen Frühstückshunger hat, dann sind € 21,00 etwas gehoben. Der Frühstücksraum ist wunderschön im Rondell angelegt. Im Foyer gibt es auch gemütliche Sitzgelegenheiten welche wir jedoch nicht nutzten.

Insgesamt habe ich mich in diesem Hotel wohl gefühlt und würde es jederzeit wieder buchen.

optimale Lage; sehr gutes, reichhaltiges Frühstück

Cons:

Im Zimmer habe ich eine bequeme Sitzgelegenheit vermisst.
