Pros:

The bed was harder than I expected after staying in a Holiday Inn before. Breakfast was good. However, I do not like American cheese which was used in the individual omelets. I much prefer scrambled eggs. I guess that is the difference between Regular Holiday Inn and the Express. I will pay more attention next time in my reservations.

The staff was friendly. But the cleanliness was horrible. Micro wave was not clean. We had to clean the bathroom. Again, the staff was very kind.

This stay was serviceable. However, we were disappointed that we arrived after 8:00 pm and they still had to "finish getting the room ready." Additionally, the room was not particularly clean when we actually did make it upstairs. Holiday Inn Express is our favorite place to stay when travelling, and this was one of the few times we didn't find the hotel stellar. Maybe they were just having a bad day at this one.

Close to nearby hospitals - had a family member in the hospital and very convenient.
Hard to see the signs where to turn off Springhill Avenue - missed it completely first time past.

Pros:

Great beds. 4 pillows per perfect after traveling and tired. Check in easy. Our bathroom floor was extremely sticky and kind of gross. I ended up using a washcloth to clean it up as I was not going to go barefoot on it. Not sure if they cleaned it heavily and didn’t rinse it or what but that was my only issue otherwise everything else was super clean.
