Pros:

We are frequent visitors to Port Aransas and find Ocean Edge Hotel is very pleasing. Good value, better than expected breakfast, clean room, easy access to shops and beach.

Cons:

More than often, house keeping skips are room, not that we need someone cleaning up after ourselves, but fresh towels and bathroom floor matt are necessary.

We used to stay in this hotel every year, but I guess we won’t anymore. Too dirty.
Cons:

1) Dirty towels and bedding with stains.
2) the AC not working properly (no hot air, only cold, and it was already cold outside).
3) the pipes were clogged in the bathroom.

A really great place to stay
Pros:

Breakfast was really good but they ran out of bacon by the time we got there. Still had sausage, tho. the happy hour was not expected and we really liked it. It is a really nice place, hopefully we can go back sometime!

Very friendly staff with a great breakfast. Room was a bit dark and dank but we really appreciated having a kitchen. It would have been lovely to have a bit more supplies like coffee mugs. (-:

Pros:

Great accommodations and value. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was typical for a hotel and had variety. Icemakers available and vending machines. Restaurants were very close!

Cons:

The in room coffee products and coffeemaker were awful but the office where breakfast is served was very close so not a big deal.

Some of the reviews were very misleading.
Pros:

The staff was friendly.

Cons:

The room was not clean. The property was not well maintained. Breakfast was okay. The “happy hour” was really a really terrible chicken nugget that tasted like fish and 2 modelos from a mini fridge in the office. It wasn’t clean or comfortable and the reviews saying it is were lying. This was a bottom of the barrel stay that was masked by some really over zealous reviews.
