Wyndham Acmar Klang

This was an excellent hotel with a very reasonable rate for our superior queen room and they let us have a late, 6pm, checkout for a moderate extra amount.

Was really just here overnight. Quiet area

I will said this is quite a nice hotel given that i was heading to port klang. Quite a lot of food choice and a supermart nearby. The hotel setting is vintage style like the 90s but i love the vibe of the old school hotel feel with the big spacious lobby. Definitely value for money.

The hotel overall is ok but can do better with the cleaning as I can see spiders and bunch of hair on the floor.

It was a nice and clean hotel with a very nice buffet breakfast.

Very skimpy on amenities

The hotel staff are definitely 5 star, but the hotel itself needs some updates. I was surprised to hear it was only 5 years old, but the building was much older and sat for many years. The bar is fantastic and I thouroughly enjoyed the entertainment and bartenders were lovely friendly people! The management even went out of their way to bring me birthday cake which was absurd, but just that little extra touch that elevates this wonderful staff! I really hate knocking the room, but it just really needs a good interior designer to elevate the room a bit. The bed was comfy, WiFi worked well, shower water was nice, and they have a nice amenities kit waiting. Overall a very pleasant stay and if I’m ever in Klang again I will definitely consider staying here. Note to single traveling ladies be careful if you explore the area behind the hotel.

You’re far better off going to the new DoubleTree down the road, which is closer to the i-City mall, much cleaner and dedicated staff.

Our room was dusty, areas of detail were dirty (clearly hadn’t been cleaned in weeks), the shower pressure was neglible and only spat out cold water, general dirt and grime was everywhere (the nasty teaspoons were particularly bad) and the pillows were covered in fluff and dirt.

Overall it feels like a total disinterest in the attention to detail. I also felt as though the staff were more interested in their phones or joking around with their co-workers than guests.

Honestly, just go to the DoubleTree.

All was OK, except to loud AC in the room.

Lighting commands in room a bit confusing

The hotel is located at AEON Bukit Raja Klang and it is 10 minutes walk to AEON for shopping or dining. The hotel has provided free parking for their hotel guests.

The room is big and the bed is and pillows is comfortable. But the floor carpet has a lot of dust and Hotel has provided room slippers for their room guests. The bathroom door ‘s lock is spoils. The bathroom door can close and cannot lock for my room. The water pressure for shower is strong. The hotel only provide shampoo, shower cream and conditioner 1 small bottle each. It is not enough for 2 guests for shower. We have to bring our own body shampoo our own self.

My room Wi-Fi is good but the centralise air-cond is taking long hours for cooling. I will stay again if the hotel rates is good and affordable.

Amazing hotel

The place was incredible in the inside and looked modern although it looked old outside.

Breakfast was not included and since we stayed in the hotel it was RM25 per person. (If you're not staying at the hotel, it will be RM55 per pax). Parking is free, just give your TnG or visa card to the reception so they can help.

I liked the shower and toiletries provided, I didn't feel the need to use other soaps purchased elsewhere since it was nice to use the hotel's toiletries instead. The shower was satisfying, I could bath in it for a long time.

The room was quite spacious and perhaps soundproof since we can't even hear anything outside from the room like housekeeping trolleys or noises from the people next door.

The breakfast was great, they had a lot of varieties to choose from and their menus change day to day which was great so we got to try new food each day.

The reception and bell boy were cheerful and great even though they were wearing mask, you can hear the cheerfulness from their voices and it made my day.

All in all, I enjoyed my stay.
