A beautiful natural setting undermined by maintenance issues
Pros:

Beautiful location surrounded by nature, with amazing views, trails, beaches, and monkeys right next to the rooms. The staff was friendly and willing to help.

Cons:

The room needed significant maintenance: the ceiling fan and main light did not work, there were water and roof issues during a storm, and the shower failed once. Staff lacked hospitality and safety protocols, especially during the storm. The restaurant was overpriced for the quality and portions, and the beach distances were longer than advertised.

Pros:

Kessa, il cane del lodge, ci ha fatto compagnia durante tutto il soggiorno e già mi manca! Il posto è un vero paradiso tropicale con spiagge fantastiche, scimmie e tante belle piante. I prezzi del bar e del ristorante erano normali, nonostante ci trovassimo su un'isola remota quasi tutta per noi. Lo staff ci ha aiutato molto, spero di tornare presto.

Un hotel low cost, que permite conocer una isla con mucho encanto.
Pros:

Tiene mucho mérito que lleve más de 20 años funcionando. La ubicación está muy bien, las instalaciones son muy correctas. aunque al menaje de las habitaciones les hace falta una renovación, las toallas aunque son básicas, presentaba algunas manchas lo cuál a nivel de imagen, no queda bien para un Hotel.
A nivel de servicio creo que la falta más madurez al personal, si bien el chico que hace de camarero es un 10, amable, sonriente, con muy buenos dotes de comunicación y se le nota que le gusta hacer su trabajo y tiene vocación de servicio al cliente.
Pero creo que falta profesionalizar mucho más al equipo de servicio del Hotel, amabilidad, trato con el cliente, atención.
La carta del restaurante está bastante limitada, estaría muy bien incluir platos fríos, pues el calor que hace a la isla, invita poco a consumir fritos y caldos calientes como los que se incluyen. Estaría muy bien incluir opciones sin gluten para los celiacos.
Los cócteles estaban bien preparados.
Las habitaciones están bien aisladas de los mosquitos, por lo que se agradece esa adaptación.
La isla donde está ubicada tiene los amaneceres y atardeceres mas bonitos que he visto. Las playitas que hay en la isla son muy solitarias, aunque la más cercana, la Playa Piedrita es la que recomiendo, ya que el camino hasta la segunda es bastante largo y de difícil acceso.
Los monos aulladores, las iguanas y los cantos de los pajaritos por la mañana hicieron especial el lugar a pesar de lo básico del alojamiento, no obstante este hotel cumple los requisitos para un presupuesto ajustado.

La calidad de la atención al cliente del personal ( con excepción del camarero que es muy bueno)

Great place to simply wind down
Pros:

This was a return visit for us. For us, one of the main appeals is that it is so far off the beaten track that the area is never busy, and it is a great place to just wind down. They keep the facilities in good condition, and the staff are extremely pleasant and accommodating. It has a huge private beach to explore. The meals are good and reasonable. This a great place for those who are simply looking to get away for a bit.

We enjoyed the abandonment of that 5 star resort feeling. This was truly a worth while. I'll be back
Pros:

Breakfast was great. The people catered to all our needs. The view was awesome. We saw many monkeys and colorful birds. We explored a couple of beaches around the island and found them amazing. It was as if we were the only ones there! Having the water birds, monkeys, and iguanas to be observed so close to us made it special.

Cons:

As seniors, walking up the many steep stairs from the boat dock to the main office, with luggage, was indeed the hardest part of our adventure.

A wonderful down home comfortable place with a local feel.
Pros:

Staff was really friendly and I loved my cabin on the water. The facilities are incredible with water views and a wonderful dining/ sitting area with hammocks.
There were trails around and it was safe so that I could walk through the forest to the beach by myself. There was no one on the beaches. They also arranged a full day boat tour to 3 islands for me that was very cheap
There were howler monkeys in the trees in the mornings near my cabin and I enjoyed watching the fishing boats go by. A good local feel.

Cons:

They were renovating, which is understandable, but I had to watch for wet paint and such. It aopeared that the upper bed in my cabin had been slept in, but my bed sheets and bed were clean. It is a down home funky place, so better to not expect lavish facilities, but it was all very accomadating, and maybe better because of it.

Pros:

Bon accueil. Hôtel avec une vue imprenable en hauteur. Chambre standard mais, avec vue mer. Cuisine commune, restaurant. Très bien pour passer 1 ou 2 journée vraiment au calme avec 2 petites plages à proximité.

Cons:

Prises électriques dans la chambre insuffisantes et loin du lit. Cuisine commune qui devrait être mieux équipée et avec éponge propre.
