Fairly priced average hotel in Karharagama
Pros:

Faily Priced. Located in the heart of Katharagama. Clean and acceptable amenthesis.

Terrible and Unacceptable Experience

This was an absolutely disgusting experience. The bathroom was extremely dirty 🤮 and there were cockroaches everywhere — both in the room and in the bathroom. This is completely unacceptable and unhygienic.

We tried to speak directly with the manager, but he was hiding and refused to meet us, sending staff members instead. Only after we decided to leave did he finally call and ask whether we were going.

One room was never used due to these terrible conditions, yet we were still charged the full amount at the Booking.com rate. When we asked to cancel that room, our request was ignored.

This place shows zero professionalism, poor management, and no respect for guests. I strongly do NOT recommend staying here.

Cons:

I booked 2 double rooms. I asked for a paid late check out. I was refused. I was ok with that. Then the day of arrival I called and asked to arrange dinner for the 4 of us. They wanted an advance. I mean that really annoyed me. So I didnt go to the hotel at all. I cancelled the booking.

Visit this place, experience it and enjoy it.
Pros:

For us it was partly a starting point to Yala Park, but mainly a place where we fully absorbed the electrifying atmosphere of one of the most important religious sites in Sri Lanka. We were here for 3 days and we will definitely come back next time.

Cons:

Our stay was over and we had to leave.
