Taj Chandigarh is a great transit hotel. We stopped by here from Manali to Mumbai for 2 nights. Food is fantastic. The hotel is walking distance from rose garden and about a km d a half away from Rock Garden.

Mansi at the guest services was very helpful with suggestions on places to visit and a smooth check in. Harjeet Kaur was great housekeeping! Gaurav and Pankaj were fantastic at buffet service hosting. The spa services were also quite good. Highly recommend the hotel.

I spent a weekend at Taj Chandigarh with a group of friends, and it turned out to be one of those staycations that leaves you refreshed long after you've checked out.
What I loved most was the location, right in the heart of the city, yet peaceful enough to feel like a proper escape from the daily routine. The moment we entered the hotel, there was a sense of calm and understated luxury that set the tone for the entire stay.

Our rooms were spacious, comfortable, and beautifully maintained. Everything felt spotless, and the attention to detail really stood out. Even though the hotel was busy, we never felt disturbed by noise, which made it easy to relax and enjoy our downtime. The staff were genuinely warm and helpful throughout our stay. Whether it was a quick request or a recommendation, they always assisted with a smile and made us feel welcome. We also made good use of the amenities, especially the pool and dining areas, which added to the overall experience.

For me, what made the stay special wasn't just the luxury, it was how effortless and comfortable everything felt. Between great conversations with friends, excellent hospitality, and a relaxing atmosphere, Taj Chandigarh delivered a memorable weekend that I would happily repeat.

I had stopped staying at this hotel a few years back, because of the bad service and attitude of the hotel.
Things have changed for the better.
The check in - Led by Aaryan was smooth.
The room was comfortable, except for the bathroom which are still rather aged , with bath tubs that can be dangerous for seniors. The service at the Cafe / restaurant was exceptional. Dinner organized by Mr. Laxminarayan and served in the room, it was made with a lot of care to taste. At Breakfast The cafe was buzzing - Sanjeev took - the Omlette courtesy Chef Ananya, A brand new item- Oats- spinach Chila courtesy Chefs Anna/ Tawarpreet were delightful. Basically there was a fresh attitude that was reflected everywhere- MsNitika at the Club, extremely helpful.

breakfast and dinner was good. room not fitting TAJ standard. very dissatisfied with room. Even at the time of checking in we were asked to wait 10/15 minutes though we came at 4.00 pm.

We stayed 3 nights at Taj Chandigarh. It’s located very close to the Sector 17 market. There is an under pass at waking distance which connects to the Rose Garden. The room was clean and well maintained. The buffet breakfast and dinner were very good. All the restaurant staff were very helpful and courteous. Mr Pankaj especially took very good care of us. The swimming pool was clean and had an attendant for safety at all times.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here!

It was our son's birthday and it went really well ...Mr Pankaj helped us in making it a memorable one...great food , super supportive and courteous staff...Thank you !!

Adequate amenities and signature Taj welcome

We were generally discussing that which brand or which hotel is better Taj or Hyatt because both of them are next to each other in sector 17 and me and my wife but thinking that obviously Hyatt has a better dining experience but two or surprise Taj without any doubt as better service and service with a smile facility the people in the facility especially Mr pankaj who was taking care of us took an extra step to care for us. no doubt Both branch have their pros and cons but I love to visit Taj again and again. Yes again Taj is only Taj because of the people working there not because of the building.

Taj is always the best in terms of hospitality but on my recent trip to Taj I would like to mention that Mansi Pandey and Mr. Krishna (Travel desk) took a great care.
