Location is good

Everything was good as expected. Room was exceptionally clean, the staff was polite and warm. They even upgraded my room and the complimentary birthday cake was very thoughtful of the staff. The food selection at the morning buffet at Cafe 17 was good. Will definitely stay again when in Chandigarh!

Always felt safe and at home. Breakfast was a lavish experience .... one of the best amongst other hotels ...Taj Chandigarh has been my regular stay since long ... Spa experience was also excellent.

I dont like cribbing about a hotel because its an easy business to run. However, this one needed a review because the issues seemed to be due to sheer ignorance.

Stayed here only for a night and had several observations:

1). The internet was as slow as the 2G network from a decade ago. The sales staff was prompt to help but it took them half a day to fix wi fi.

2). The room does not have water by default and you have to ask for it every time you need one. I remember this hotel having fruits in the evening service but that seems to be shelved due to cost cutting.

3). We requested for an extra bed as a colleague was traveling with me. They sent one - but it was damp and torn from the sides primarily because of poor storage conditions. The funny part was they charged 2,625 rupees to put a single mattress which seemed like a scene from a dingy spa😃. When I checked online, the difference between a single and double occupancy is of 400 rupees for a room only rate.

4). The coffee sachet at this hotel (and every other taj hotel now) is a witness of cost cutting.

I would best place this hotel in Ginger or Gateway. Possibly worth considering other hotels if available.

Stayed at this property for a night. It was an average experience.
The location is very convenient and close to Rose Garden.
The check in was swift.
But the check out process was not a smooth one. The staff didn’t refill the minibar and tried to charge it at the time of check out. Then they realised their mistake and removed the charge. The manager did call me afterwards to apologise. But this is not expected from a brand like Taj at the very first place.
The 6th floor windows were very narrow. And it should be avoided.
The buffet breakfast spread was good.

We had an amazing time at the Taj Chandigarh. The location is pretty good with walkable markets and eateries. Even Most sight seeing are nearby the hotel. The breakfast buffet is also amazing. We got an upgrade to our rooms for which we are many thankful to the hotel as our kids loved the bubble bath in the bathroom tubs. Though the room size are generally small seem more like a business hotel but there is ample storage place. The hospitality is amazing, we were travelling to Manali and had driven from Delhi to Chandigarh in our car which we could park at the hotel as we would be taking Cab for the hilly routes. Also we had a celeratory ocassion during the trip and the hotel served us an amazing cake with a flower bouquet and nice decoration. Also regarding the hospitality I would specially mention as one our staying members had a stomach upset and when reaching the travel concierge to know the closest pharmacy, they just asked us the name of the medicine and arranged the pickup and drop for the same at the room. This was an amazing gesture and we would thank them very very much for the same. Overall we stayed 2 nights and had an amazing time. We thank the hotel staff for making the stay very comfortable.

We had an education fair at Taj Chandigarh and the experience was superb. From banquet booking till end everything was very smooth. Special thanks to Ms Khushi - Sales Manager, Shiv and Suresh - Banquet support staff and Lakshya From Banquets.

All are very friendly and supportive people.

Taj Chandigarh has multiple banquet options. I am highly recommend this hotel for any sort of events from marriage to corporate events.
