Great service and location but pillows and mini bar need sorting out
Pros:

Beautiful setting, architecture and entrance lobby. Paul on reception very welcoming.

Cons:

The pillows were like blocks of concrete / cheap foam. Mini bar was empty. I called for room service at 12am ( hot milk and whiskey) to be told that the bar was closed. And there was nothing in my mini bar.

Great place to stay and dine
Pros:

Rooms were very well maintained, clean and with everything you would want.
Breakfast was a buffet style with a large selection of cooked hot food, cheeses, hams, pastries, cereals and drinks.
Grounds and hotel were great with plenty of space to walk around, parking is spacious and plentiful.

Cons:

Don’t like the fact they take £50 deposit for each night you stay with them, I feel this is excessive.

"My 3rd visit to celebrate my birthday"
Pros:

Yet another amazing stay as this is my 3rd visit staying for my birthday. I booked direct with hotel by with Sebastian, who gave me a great price & upgraded room when I checked in on Saturday with Jack, infact the same room the last 3 times. Lovely spacious, light & backs onto the lake & quiet. Grounds are lovely to walk around.
Thanks to Jules (Swiss lady) & Raphela on front desk.
I asked for more tea, coffee, milk etc in the room as having friends over for cake & drinks. Thanks to Lydia who brought it all to my room & then helped me with my luggage too.
Thanks for the lovely touches for my birthday from housekeeping with swans made out of towels on my bed. Also a birthday card, little chocs, card for a free drink at the bar. My room had a sofa & extra arm chair, so comfy. Love the new smellies in the bathroom fixed to the wall no more little bottles. Plenty of towels & hot water, very powerful shower.
Fridge in the room , with free 2 bottles of water. This is where the kettle & tea, coffee, milk etc with short bread bis. Huge bed is so comfy & 4 pillows just right, headboard, bedside tables with table lights, plenty of lighting, plug sockets. TV on the wall, plenty of extra chairs, with 2 tables & glass table too. Lovely pics on the walls.
Cupb'd with hanging space & hangers, shelves, dressing gowns, slippers. Safe on the top shelf, sadly little too high for me, but use a chair without my shoes on!!!!
Heating was just right when cold, air con if too hot.
I only had breakfast this time & staff welcomed me back. Thanks to Justyna who brought me my decaf tea, Manhash, Anil. Sandor who brought me apricot jam to my table as non out.
Very yummy cooked English breakfast, cold breakfast, juices, pastries, toast with jams & butter, cereals, Also free from too. Coffee machine self service too.
Check in at 3pm, check out 11am, but can ask for early or late check out too if available for a fee. Plenty of free parking but must reg your car.
Easy to walk into Weybridge, but lots to do around the are too. Mercedes World, Brooklands Museum. Hampton Court Palace, Thorpe Park, Legoland just a few places to see .
I have already booked to stay next month, so looking forward to my stay again.
Def would recommend, but not telling which room as this is my fav room!!!!!
Just a heads up no lifts in some parts of the building.
Thanks to all the staff & sorry if I have forgotten anyone, see you again soon.

Lovely part of our history
Pros:

Checked in and got a free room upgrade from the delightful Julianne (I hink. swiss lady). Forget I'd made two separate bookings for the two nights. Unfortunately someone who requested a ground floor room was in line for mine the second night. However with a bit of shuffling around so they got upgraded too I was able to keep the same room. Great work. Room was truly lovely, spacious with a high ceiling and overlooking the lake. Dinner was wonderful plus I spent some enjoyable time in the bar. Loved chatting to Julianne about the ghost stories, she really Is a credit to the hotel. super friendly and chatty especially as I'm very much into the paranormal. The grounds at the back could be a bit .mpre pristine but then it was February. Really enjoyed my stay and reasonablle for my Heathrow flight next day. I would definitely stay again ideally in room 1313. Lovely building with lots of history.

Pros:

The hotel was clean throughout. There was no funny smell. The breakfast was tasty and the salt in the food was ok.

Cons:

I couldn't get the shower to be positoned right and there was no door to the shower enclosure so I was worried I would flood the bathroom floor.

VIP Treatment
Pros:

I booked a room here recently for my wife and I. It's a local hotel and I explained to the receptionist that the reason for our stay was my wife's birthday, which coincided with an anniversary of our first date. I also explained that we were just looking forward to a night away from the kids, a nice meal and a lay-in.

We were both thrilled to discover on check-in that we had been upgraded to the honeymoon sweet which made our stay absolutely incredible and all the more memorable.

We thought the hotel was fabulous, the rooms are very luxurious and the bed gave me the best night's sleep I've had in years. The food in the Mulberry restaurant was exquisite, both at dinner and breakfast the next morning. There are plenty of options and there's clearly a very talented Chef working in the kitchen.

But the real star of our stay was the service we received from the moment we checked with reception, to the warm welcome we received at the bar and right through to the incredible service we experienced in the restaurant at dinner and breakfast the morning - Honestly, the staff made us feel like VIPs the whole time we were there!

I have already recommended this place to friends and family and with very reasonable rates, I think I've discovered a local gem that we will be revisiting time and time again!

Thank you so much for a lovely stay - Hope to see you again soon!!!

Very basic and not worth the price
Cons:

The rooms were very small, the beds were small and made a lot of noise when moving in them.
The breakfast was appalling, very cold and very basic. Choice of selection was very limited. Coffee machine constantly stopped. The corridor light was reflecting in the room which made sleeping very uncomfortable.
