Absolutely love this hotel and the history behind it. Food was delicious and the room we had was really well maintained, really happy all round. The staff were really polite and attentive.
The hotel cleanliness
Food quality
The exceptionly high cost of meals and all types of drinks.
For that reason alone I would not come back again Shame.
The location is excellent and the grounds of the property are amazing.
Charming and romantic interior decor.
The room was clean and quite large.
The front office and cleaning staff are very friendly and helpful.
The restaurant was great disappointment. It appears to be riding on the coattails of the rest of the hotel.
The food was overpriced for below par quality. Meals were substituted without prior notice and the wine felt watered down.
The restaurant staff didn't seem to be trained by the same management as the rest of the property and lack basic service practices.
We had a room above the lobby and there was a noisy birthday party that made it hard to sleep.
Stayed here n a Secret Escapes break due to its proximity to Hampton Court Palace and Kew gardens.Whilst the room was not ideally located we were impressed that the hotel had recently been refurbished and everything was immaculate. The staff were really helpful and the food was excellent although choice was limited at dinner. Set in grounds with plenty of parking it is an ideal place to stay given its proximity to attractions and Heathrow airport. Would certainly stay here again.
فندق جميل جداً هادي وموقعه حلو وراقي من غرفة نوم كذلك موظف الاستقبال ساعدني حيل اسمه جاك وقريب من المطار اللي بيبي يريح يوم 🇰🇼
A very nice, quiet hotel with a great location and upscale feel. The receptionist, Jack, was very helpful, and it's close to the airport, perfect for a day trip.

Nice big room, comfortable bed. Very convenient for our purposes.
Not a deal breaker at all, but it would have been good if there was a smart TV to which we could link our devices to watch Netflix
Location and comfort
Some of restaurant staff need training
The room we were originally allocated was absolutely lovely, however it did not have a walk-in shower. The replacement room had not been properly prepared and was not of the same standard
Had a lovely time at this hotel, room was nice but was up 3 flights of stairs with no access by lift. The room had a great view of the lake but access was not easy. I was not asked if it was ok to climb so many stairs but I managed.
The dinner was good value and the breakfast was ok. Service in the restaurant was ok had to wait on a number of occasions to be seated
Incredible setting and beautifully restored building, impressive entrance and reception area. Lovely big breakfast room with views of the garden and lake.
Our room was a ‘superior’ double but it was quite small and seemed rather more ‘regular’ than ‘superior’. Our view was over the car park.
location food service all excellent. Very spacious and lovely gardens.
Noise all night from outside. Sounded like a boiler. Pillows hard. Radiator cover fell off had to lean it back up so it didn't fall again.
Beautiful building and grounds. First rate evening meal and breakfast. Staff were very friendly and attentive.
Great experience and service was great from the bartender - Lydia
We have stayed here a few times in the past 18 months. When we arrived this time it was nice to be recognised by staff who, very kindly, upgraded us to our favourite room. The grounds are lovely and we enjoyed a walk around them. Breakfast is plentiful and tasty.
