Pros:

Location can’t really be beat. Parking was included and reserved.

Cons:

Facilities were shabby and in need of an update, or at least some maintenance. The bathroom (and particularly the shower) was tiny and gross. The view from our room was the loading dock for the Mercator across the street. Music outside (I think at the attached restaurant) was loud until 10:30 pm.

Ez a hajó süllyed
Pros:

A front office személyzet mindent megtesz, hogy mentse a menthetőt, szó szerint hősök.
Az étteremben az à la carte ételek nagyon finomak és a kiszolgálás is rendben van.
A tó felőli oldalon a 3. emelettől felfelé már valóban csodás a kilátás a tóra, a szigere és a várra.
A szálloda remek helyen van.

Cons:

• Első szoba: duplaágyas szobát foglaltunk, kilátással. Különágyasat kaptunk. Teltház miatt nem tudtak cserélni, viszont a recepciós úr nagyon kedvesen segített. Ágyak összetol, vontatókötéllel megköt, mosolyog. :-D
Sajnos a klíma csak zörgött, de nem hűtött, a teraszajtó vetemedett volt, a zsanér pedig törött, így mégis kellett másik szoba. Recepciós úr gyorsan intézkedett.

• Második szoba: végre duplaágy és működő klíma, hurrá. Kellemetlen szag, gyengébb kilátás, nem hurrá.
A zuhanykabin ajtaja leszakadva, szóltunk. A szerelő ideiglenesen rögzítette, így nem szakadt a fejünkre. A rozsda, penész és lógó gumikéder maradt – ezek nyilván szériatartozékok.

Ebben a szobában már külső eszközt nem lehetett a TV-re csatlakoztatni, így a tervezett movie night ugrott. Technikai segítség nem ért rá épp. Elengedtük.

A koszos fürdőszobai lámpa, a több helyen lepattogzott csempe, a fürdiajtóból kiszakadt szellőzőbetét, a háló foltos és pecsétes falai, a megrongált konnektorok mind mutatják a színvonalat.

Az elvileg tiszta szobai kávéskészlet egyik kanala kávés, a másik joghurtos volt. Nem rendeltetését, állapotát tekintve. Ekkor már komolyan elgondolkodtunk a költözésen, de a szakadó eső meggyőzött, hogy mégiscsak jobb bent.

A bárt ugyanaz a személyzet vitte, mint az éttermet, láthatóan nem volt rá kapacitásuk. Hosszú várakozás, nem működő pincércsengő, majd a rendelt étel helyett is valami más érkezett. Ekkor már kerestük a kandi kamerát.

És a végén a londínerkocsi: csomagjaink lehordásához kértünk egyet – Szabad a gazda, vajon hibás volt-e? :-D

Konklúzió: A szállodát a remek lokáció és a front office személyzet odaadása tartja életben. Az épületet eredetileg magas minőségi standard szerint tervezték, de a karbantartás hiánya és a rossz menedzsment mára sajnos nagyon látványos. Jelenlegi állapotban a „romhalmaz” kifejezés jut először eszembe róla, sajnos.

Clean and pleasant hotel in a good location.
Pros:

The hotel was excellently situated about 3 mins (if that) from the lake and a short walk to both the free and paid lake swim areas. The hotel had a lot of character. The rooms were a good size and well equipped, and it was great to have a little balcony. The Thai massage was one of the best I've had. The reception staff were pleasant.

Cons:

The breakfast wasn't the best - it felt a little lacklustre - but it was good enough.

Pros:

Hotel je téměř u jezera Bled, personál super, u hotelu je restaurace, kde jsme si dali dobrou večeři, snidane v hotelu také dobré.
Za nas vše v pořádku.

Cons:

Ještě by jsme uvítali venkovní bazén.
