Breakfast was pretty bleak. Lots of tinned and packet stuff with only really bread and cheese to make something off. Couple of hot options would do nicely in the mix. Not ideal with kids with so much sugar on offer. Even fruit was tinned in sugar syrup and not fresh
The room was warm and there were no fans they could bring in. Little chips and knicks on walls, creaky floors, a bit rusty
Location was beach adjacent local to town
Need a revamp and rooms updating, however....it was a bed and a door so dis the job
It's was quiet, I had a view of the car park, the rooms in the front would be looking at the sea. Polite staff.
No lift and the car park had soft areas where my bike stand would pass between the brick and stone and the bike would start falling. It took a few attempts to get the right hard standing.
Nothing
Dirty hotel
Miserable, the windows were black and dusty, the carpet in the room was not vacuumed, mold in the bathroom,
I choose the property for it’s location, as it was near to the euro tunnel
The mattress was worn, the shower head could of done with being replaced, as it was only dripping out water.
Its location
We were promised ground floor room as my wife is disabled and the lift was not working
But instead we had to negotiate two flights of stairs the room was awful the bed was made up of layers of foam and layers of of different materials .paid for breakfast thinking we were going to get full English but it was continental . The room was very small and our wardrobe was a rail under a shelf the top of the cystern kept coming of every time we flushed
The location was great sea view by the beach and perfect for LeShuttle in the morning. It was 20min to get there.
Free parking with EV charger (just one though) we were lucky it wasn't being used.
The rooms were old, tatty, and has not been refurbished for about 50 years. The shower was barely a dribble. Bathroom was filthy, sink had years of scum around the taps. The decor was tatty and old everywhere. The hallways were dark and smelt musty.
There was a huge filthy stain on our bedroom carpet.
We were 4 of us in the room but there was only ONE tiny little side lamp for all of us!
We opened the window and the whole bottom part of the window frame broke off!
We paid for breakfast which was the most basic cheap 'continental'. Bread, cheap slices of ham cheese and salami, crumpets, cheap croissants, yoghurt and tinned fruit. Just go to McDonald's.
The whole hotel could do with regutting and completely refurbished, it's such a great location, it could be amazing. But currently it is a rundown relic. I'm glad we didn't have to stay more than one night.
The staff are friendly and helpful. The location. The view from our room.
Needs thorough clean, and decorating.
Hot water tap barely works and the water just goes down the plug hole as there is no plug.
The tv. Pointless being there as there is no signal. No aerial fitted.
The shower needs replacing.
Only good thing was location
Very run down and dirty shower wouldn't work so contacted member of staff and they turned up with tools so clearly knew it was broken, no operable windows painted shut
Die Location
Das Frühstück auf keinenFall buchen! Die Freundlichkeit der Mitarbeiter lässt zu Wünschen übrig, genauso wie die Sauberkeit im Bad (Schimmel) und das Bett war sehr unbequem.
The bedding and towels were clean and hotel was a lovely setting
It was as expected.
The location was convenient for us in order to access the tunnel. The person who greeted us was friendly.
The rooms smelt of smoke and the floors felt sticky. We were also annoyed that we still had to pay for breakfast despite saying we were not staying for breakfast so this added a significant amount money.
The room was very dirty, unfortunately. The staff were friendly and welcoming. The breakfast was very basic. The location was good.
Room cleanliness/hygiene and finish.
