Would not stay again but see the value for a short stay

The entire place just felt very dark, dingey, and dirty. The carpet and walls were dirty throughout the halls and our room. It smelled old (we even went to Walmart to buy air freshener plug ins for the 2 nights we stayed because it was a very unpleasant smell) in the room, halls, and elevators. The pool area also felt dirty and didn’t smell good at all, and the floors were pretty gross. Our ceiling fan was dirty and didn’t work. Our ice bucket had mildew/mold on the lid (they gave us another one). We had the one bedroom suite with the sofa bed which was okay, but there wasn’t anywhere to really sit and eat in the room. Breakfast was a bit disappointing but the coffee and waffles were good! I try to find the positives in my experiences but this was just not good and I wouldn’t recommend it for more than a quick sleep. The staff was very kind during every interaction.

The price i paid for the value, i booked this thinking it was clean i arrived and the stairs were nasty the elevator was dirty. $140 and i feel like holiday inn would have been a better choice. I will not be staying there again. Esp. For $140 a night that was not worth the price.
