Been before and great location for wedding at the town hall
My bathroom flooded after one shower, and no one came to clean on my second day so had a damp bathroom and no dry towels

We liked the location from the train station and the staff were lovely we asked for a fan as the air con wasn't working and the breakfast was brilliant lots of choice my son requested hot milk with his weetabox and they brought it for him
The pool changing rooms were quite confusing the directions to the pool were very confusing from the changing rooms resulting in my autistic son being overwhelmed and couldn't find his way to the changing area as was 2 doors he panicked and tried to to come to the ladies and slipped and hurt him self even in the ladies changing room was confusing how to find the pool amd exit maybe it was us

Exceptional staff - every member of staff we met were very welcoming and professional.
Central location. Large room. Friendly staff. Comfy bed, pillows & shower. Pool facilities were free. Stayed previously when it was Mercure and it was a chargeable fee for pool and we never bothered that time.
Sauna wasn't working. Didn't have dairy free milk despite asking for it at reception. Not enough storage space in rooms. Only 2 drawers. Bedside table was like a basic table. Bedside lampshade a bit tatty. One packet of biscuits for 2 people felt a bit mean. Some parts of room needs some TLC & refurbishment. Some parts of the room didn't feel it was cleaned properly like bathroom. Needs a main (big light) in the room. The smaller mood lights hard to see.
I liked the room, the Aircon, the spa downstairs but to which was saddened to notice the sauna was out of use as that's my favourite, would have liked to have at least been told about that but nonetheless we did enjoy our stay and will be back! Thank you :)
The pillows, quite flat and not very comfy, the bed in itself mattress and all was comfortable for a night stay, when come for a extended stay would like an extra pillow or two for me and my friend. Everything else no faults :)
