Up hill walk back from the centre of town. But bus 461 was very frequent for our return

Great variety of very good food
Hotel needs repainting
Don't know where to start. This hotel was simply amazing. The location is prime, with the restaurant area giving a breathtaking view over the city. Our suite had its own mini garden which was great for our small dog, and the mini garden gave way to the pool area, which was so convenient for us.
The facilities of the hotel are incredible. The largest gym I've ever seen in a hotel, a beautiful spa, and some great food service whether at the bistrot, restaurant, or pool area. We will be back!
The only thing I would say was that the warm food at breakfast (eggs, bacon, beans, etc.) could have been a little better. The eggs were too salty, bacon not cooked enough (to my taste), and the beans didn't have much flavor. But that's because I have to pick something negative to pick on.
The rooms were a long way from the main reception and the breakfast area. We were travelling with two grandmas (80 years plus) so accommodation much nearer to the main building would have been better. The building looked like it needed a repaint. Our room had aircon in the living room but not in our bedrooms. The restaurant at the hotel was very expensive and the quality not as good as other restaurants we visited in Lugano.

The staff were exceptionally friendly and accommodating, and moved us to two rooms with balconies because they had become free. The hotel rooms were very spacious.
It wasn’t in the hotel’s control but the weather meant we couldn’t use the pool and outdoor facilities.
