Great HGI overall. Some gripes.
Pros:

Great HGI Hotel. Some gripes. There was no non-dairy alternative to milk and half-and-half at breakfast. Not even coffee mate. If you’re lactose intolerant, expect to be drinking black coffee. The showerhead was dated and low pressure sprinkle. The TV is big and up-to-date. The balcony view of the water at sunrise was incredible. Plenty of parking. Hotel is very clean and the staff is pleasant. This is a great location.

Expecting to do some traveling this year but will not be staying at the Hilton Garden
Pros:

We were told it came with the room but it didn`t

Cons:

Talked with a foreign girl the day before. We were told it had a hot tub, restaurant, bar which was not there or open. Our keys would not work the door

Cons:

No shampoo or conditioner in bathroom. AC didn’t work well. Was told I didn’t get a waterfront balcony because I booked 3rd party. Charged $50 for incidentals that I didn’t know about until I got there. Breakfast wasn’t a free continental but had to be paid for. Was told restaurant would be closed so ordered food out only to find out restaurant and bar were open

Bed comfortable. Convenient for our needs

Cons:

10” rip in carpet. Shower floor dirty and ladies hair on floor. Ladies hair on carpet. Only one luggage rack available for customer use.

Despite a partial clogged bathroom sink and a somewhat dirty shower my day was great as always.

Pros:

Breakfast was confusing…. Thought buffet would be included in price of room.. also, first day the server Iris was not very helpful.. We thought food for buffet would be out like second day

Cons:

Next door room was very loud with music and they were wrestling and voices very loud till around 4am… thought we would give a little time due to be New Year’s Eve… but after midnight we thought it would be quiet around 2 am.. called room service around 3am and was very reassuring that they would be doing something about the noise…. Gave us some compensation which was nice with 2 breakfast coupons and a adjustment of $50… but we were still discrest for 4 hours after midnight

We found trash on the floor under furniture. Vent in bathroom was very dirty. Bathroom door frame was showing signs of rust. They need to make some relatively minor upgrades to keep asking for basically the same rate as the New Hyatt right down the street.
