Stunning hotel and in an amazing location! Enjoyed my stay and would 100% recommend to anyone who want to have a luxury stay in Ghana.
The breakfast was good
I was asked to pay more than the amount stated on my Booking.com reservation. When I insisted on paying the correct amount, I eventually paid $900 and had some change left, but the process was made extremely difficult. Mr. Martin was very rude and dismissive, and it felt like I was begging for my own money. This came across as an attempt to cheat me and showed complete disregard for my time. Very disappointing experience.
This is a hotel where my suite smelled absolutely terrible. I even complained several times to be moved, and they kept telling me it would be in a few minutes, but I ended up staying there for three days. My emails were never answered. I am extremely disappointed.
The hotel has an unpleasant smell in the hallways and suites, which is unusual for a 5-star establishment. There's no coffee machine.
2 days without cleaning
Business traveller
Normally stay at Labadi beach, 7th Accra visit
I’m unsure for the reason for this and never got an explanation, but nothing in the hotel was open
No pool bar , no hotel bar , no restaurant, it said room service was available but then told it wasn’t , but was told I could pay 300GHS for chicken wings and chips collected by the hotel which is ridiculous money for local food
Room was excellent, very clean , spotless , did smell of cooking which I couldn’t understand as restaurant was shut,
Although everything was shut was still £240 per night which again is annoying
Staff were fantastic but couldn’t help but feel from the food delivery trying to make a quick quid
Did feel extremely safe, and I’m sure when all open it’s stunning
Pool is not as large as images and quite bad for sunbathing due to the building but that’s fine
Wouldn’t return to be honest, but maybe I just didn’t have the best experience on this occasion
I spent a week at Hotel Number One in Accra. The location is convenient from the airport, the rooms were consistently clean and comfortable. Everything felt well maintained and the stay was easy and relaxing from the moment I arrived.
Service made the experience truly special, Dennis organized everything for me, airport pickup, transport, and all the small details and he handled it all promptly and professionally.
Jessica at reception was always welcoming and helpful, while drivers Kofi Owusu and Johnson were reliable and friendly throughout my stay.
Perpetual at the restaurant never once forgot my omelet.
With great value, dependable amenities, and a peaceful environment, I’d confidently recommend Hotel Number One to anyone visiting Ghana.
Every thing
Location and comfort of the room.
Restaurant - food quality was poor. Facilities around the pool were disappointing and the spa had no availability on the two days we were there. One therapist across three hotels isn’t sufficient. If this is all they can manage then guests should be contacted ahead of time.
Love it! Excellent service and a clean, well-maintained environment. Everything was handled professionally, and the experience was smooth from start to finish.
None
Too noisy surroundings
The hotel is opulent; full of marble and gold. However, the room amenities are not consistent. Slippers and Kleenex in one room and not im another. Also, water leaks because of the half shower door. No TV in the room in some rooms. Upside is that the staff are nice and professional and the hotel is close to many shops etc.
Incredible hotel, all the facilities and amenities are great and the room is super comfortable. Melanie at reception was super helpful and accommodating. Gym is great and had great equipment and the pool area is beautiful.
