I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. Clean and quiet.
We booked the room with river view and loved it. It had the view where the 3 rivers merged and we could see "The Ningbo Bund" - where the pubs were located. From 7pm to 10 pm every night, the buildings are lit with coordinated coloured lights. Amazing view.
Hotel room has all the amenities and very comfortable super single beds.
Location was great. We walked along the riverside to Tianyi Square and to The Bund.

AC conditioner didn’t work properly. Couldn’t adjust to any temperature. It was 26 degrees inside the room.

Building is a little old
Hotel staff is not very professional. They give me the room after walk in you will see a sharp angle facing the door. It’s makes me feel very uncomfortable.
Reception staffs are professional and very welcome, some of them can communicate with foreigners.
The hotel have two breakfast rooms, the inner one provide western food / outside one provide traditional food , the inside one is clean and staffs are nice, but I heard many complain words from staffs of outside one like 'why so many people here?'(It's a 8 day's long holiday ), 'why they come so late that we don't have time to prepare the launch' etc... . the staffs from outside breakfast room don't match this hotel.
The hotel is strategically located near the city centre, it's very convenient to go tourist attractions and Nibong train station. I am actually a budget traveler. Yes, you can find any other hotel/hostel cheaper than this here, but most of them don't accept foreigners. It is a five star hotel, it is clean, got a very comfortable bed, river or city view, and almost every amenities you would expect as a star hotel. It is a classic Chinese style hotel. Some people might feel it's a bit old fashioned, some people might feel it's a new experience. I like their selection of tea bags and tea cups, for me it is a memory of grandparents' generation, basically you can't find it anywhere else outside China.

It is a bit difficult to use smart phones and all those local APPs in China. Well, as I mentioned, I can't complain anything at this price (¥3xx/night).
The location is superb. Just walk bridge, you in the city center. Staff is very cooperative, besides not so well in spoken English. Reception person, Gou helped me to smooth checkout and called for breakfast before even starting it, so that I can catch taxi at 6.30 AM. He arranged a taxi and came to drop my bags. Really appreciated the hospitality.
Breakfast spread is mostly local . As a foreigner, very limited choices.
