We were extremely happy with our stay and would definitely stay at Hotel Contessa again should we return to San Antonio.
Pros:

The Hotel is in a great location right on the River Walk and within walking distance of the Alamo and Art Museum. The rooms are large and very comfortable with plenty of room to stretch out and their onsite restaurant offers great food at reasonable prices.

Cons:

Our room was fairly close to the elevators, which were extremely loud. Would definitely recommend asking for a room away from them. Also, our room had a bathtub rather than a walk in shower and was not equipped with grab bars, so be aware of this if that is important to you.

La ubicación es inmejorable. Las habitaciones son muy espaciosas y muy cómodas. Además está bien decorado. Tiene todo lo que necesitas.

Cons:

La limpieza de la habitación no fue lo mejor, no es que estaba sucia, pero habían trocitos de comida en una parte de la habitación. Pero fuera de eso, todo impecable.

Beautifully spacious room. Great hospitality and location!

Cons:

Bath shower curtain was bad. Bath plug pulled out and possibly broken and just left like that for my arrival. Pool drains on top floor were blocked.

Cons:

My wife asked for a extra blanket and it was never delivered. Restaurant dinner was not edible but was not charged for it. Breakfast was great.
