Hyatt Place Titusville Kennedy Space Center

I am staying in the Hyatt Place Titusville when I’m in the area. The hotel features a launch view balcony which is accessible before rocket launches. I have seen many rockets launches from there.

The hotel has regular queen and twin rooms but also suites which are very desirable. I received an upgrade as a regular with Hyatt status. Thank you so much, Grace!

I got suite 502 which is located on the very right side of the building which allows for an additional window right next to the bed with views to the Boeing building next door.

The room has the usual work space with desk/chair, a refrigerator, safe, ironing board, coffee maker.
There is a sitting area on one side with sofa and ottoman On the other side of the room is a cozy chair right next to another window.

The highlight of these types of suites is the balcony which is basically a slider door that can be opened. I had the pleasure of watching a Falcon Heavy launch from there.

The bathroom has an area for the vanity and separated by a slider door is the shower and toilet.
Plenary of towels are always provided as well as shower gel, shampoo and conditioner.

The hotel offers complementary hot breakfast which is always good.

Many thanks to the employees in this hotel. They are doing their best to make guests feel comfortable.

How everyone was so welcoming from when you walk through the doors until you leave your stay. Very clean and spacious. The rooms were super nice with comfy beds.
The morning breakfast was delish and had a great variety of food choices.

Had a great time at this hotel. Love the location proximity to Kennedy space center. Made the trip to the beach to try to watch a launch less stressful. The viewing room is a cool place to see a launch if you don't want to be in the crowd and possibly waste a trip out to the viewing areas. We went to the beach to try to see a morning launch and it was delayed. We would have missed our check out but were granted a late checkout. After we checked out we asked to see the viewing room and an employee took us up there to see the space. It made my space loving kids so happy! The hotel is clean and has tons of space center related photos that my family loved looking at. The breakfast was very good with a good variety of options.
We will be back someday!

Last visited five years ago so I looked forward to seeing how this Hyatt property held up. It’s one of my favorite Hyatt Place hotels because of a feature I don’t see mentioned often: soundproofing.

Hotels near an airport often lack internal soundproofing. Here in Titusville, Hyatt did it right: both in- and external. It’s not 100% as one can still hear some noise from general aviation overhead and housekeeping in the hallways, but it’s nicely dampened and the planes don’t seem to fly at night anyway. While the hotel was full and I could hear a door being opened upstairs from my room, I did not hear a single footstep. I love it.

I had two rooms this time. Both were spotlessly clean and seemed well maintained. The staff was very welcoming. The lobby, business facility and bar area looked exactly like they had last time. They really keep things in excellent condition.

Parking is plentiful. The hotel sits right next to a road and is easily visible. Most retail and restaurants are about five miles away because this is a restricted zone due to the Space Port. Rocket launches can be viewed from the hotel’s fifth floor viewing lounge which opens ten minutes prior to any launch event.

Breakfast is still standard rather than the expanded European version that one would expect at the average price point here. The shower head is a simple single version that is not height adjustable. Water pressure seemed sufficient. Beds were comfortable and supportive enough.
