Sad to see such potential being wasted
Pros:

This property has so much potential. The architecture is unique. A square building with an inside six story atrium. Good sized rooms. Beautiful marble floors.

Cons:

The owners seem to be squandering an opportunity in gold. Rather than use the atrium for its coffee shop, breakfast room and restaurant, these have been relegated to a dark basement. In early March, there were still Christmas decorations up. All public areas need a good clean, especially the elevators. In my room, the TV didn't work, the deadbolt was broken and the shower head wouldn't stay in its stand. The breakfast room has dark blinds shutting out a million dollar view of the valley below. Food is cold arriving in the breakfast room. Check in and check out are on two different floors. It is sad to see what was once a beautiful building falling into disrepair.

The receptionists and maids are nice and helpful.

Cons:

We ordered 4 sausages and 2 portions of rice in the morning. After 50 minutes, I asked one of the workers how long we had to wait. She said he didn't know. We didn't go down for breakfast anymore.

The hotel is okay, it’s not walking distance from SM but maybe 10mins to Burnham park.
Pros:

The room and the view from our balcony was stunning.

Cons:

Elevator going down is a bit fast. They have some hallways that need to be careful to look out ( an inch to 2 elevation). Should have added more elevator. Not all channels list for TV are working.
