Ett bra alternativ till boende i Trastevere på sommaren iom poolen - en räddare när det är närmre 40°c på dagarna och det inte går att vistas på stan. Anrikt och fint hotell. Snyggt och prydligt. Kräver sin promenad till gamla kvarteren i Trastevere på ca 20 min och till centrum/Pantheon ca 30 min. Backar och trappor gäller då detta ligger på en höjd. Hotellpersonalen är trevlig och hjälpsam Bra frukost med olika alternativ. Finns en kaffemaskin med pulvermjölk men går att be om bättre kaffe av servicen som de gör på riktig maskin.
Lunch- och middagsrestaurangen överprisad och inte speciellt bra. Skönt dock att det finns möjlighet att äta lunch när man spenderar hel dag vid poolen, men middag bör man ta på stan. Runt hörnet finns ett litet torg med en gammal bar från 1977, Bar Gianicolo, här kan man äta en grillad smörgås eller melon med skinka, ta ett glas eller en glass. På eftermiddagen/kvällen kan man ta en Aperitivo. Ligger även en restaurang bredvid på torget, men inte testat..

Pros:

Beautiful hotel in a lovely area up the hill from Trastavere. Ten minute walk down (uber back up if you can’t face the steps)
In the heat the pool was a life saver as was the air con. Slept well, great breakfast buffet and friendly staff.

My new favorite hotel in Rome! Beautiful property surrounding by lush greenery. The pool is amazing. We took a 1 Euro bus down to Piazza Navona for dinner and “passagiata.” The property is very close to Villa Doria Pamphili which is a beautiful park and has lovely trails and views of Rome. I had never been and was pleasantly surprised. The people at the hotel are so nice and helpful. Breakfast = amazing!
