Apartamentos Silmar

Great location, big apartment, very clean.

We are stay Silmar Apartamentos for two nights. This apartment have no WiFi and the no lights on main entrance. And the main thing this apartment have no reception.May be next time we can’t coming this apartment.

We had a very nice stay at the Silmar appartements. The space was spacious and functional, and our appartment had a nice sea view on the terrace with the morning sun even if we didn't see the city or pool. A person also comes to change the towels and make the beds everyday, which is nice. However, careful as there is no wifi, which feels weird in 2024. A microwave would also be nice, but outside of that, it was pretty well equipped. The place could feel noisy at night though, our appartment was on the ground floor on street level, and we were sometimes bothered by passerbys coming back from a night out.

Communication to find the place was horrible

Bon séjour, appartement vaste même si la terrasse est un peu petite. Ménage effectué tous les jours, bonnes prestations. Bien situé, proche du centre à pied. Un bémol pour l isolation avec les voisins qui rentrent de sortie à 4h du mat !

Adresse d'enregistrement erronée. Numéro de téléphone erronée (sans service). Sans wifi. Appel longue distance pour obtenir les informations de paiement alors que c'était prépayée. Doit se déplacer 20 minutes de marche (aller seulement) pour obtenir la clé. Aucune communication à ce sujet au préalable, pas de rappel la veille comme ailleurs.

The apartments are in a fabulous location, with a great view and each apartment(we stayed in three overall) was super clean and tidy. They’re located about a 8 min walk to the old town and beach which was great. If you didnt want the beach, the pool is great too. Plenty of loungers, ample for everyone during our stay. The cleaners came every day and were kind and attentive.

These apartments are part of the cerro mar atlantic hotel, who were great most of the time. However, on the first day we asked for more pillows, and it took 2 days and multiple calls to receive these. The downfall of these apartments were that the walls were just so thin, so therefore you could hear everything, people walking past,talking,moving in the apartment above etc. This meant that the sleep I had over the holiday was poor, and meant i felt worse and worse each day, which was a shame. The price represented the overall quality of these apartments, including a goodnight sleep, etc etc. If you like a good sleep then I really don’t recommend these, but if you’re going to be partying and not too fussed on sleeping well, then these are fab.

A mixed experience for our group holiday.

Litet och lugnt. Vi var där i början på maj. Vi hade lägenhet i marknivå mot polen, perfekt. Städning varje dag. Hårda sängar. Mörk inredning. Nära till mataffär och restauranger. Promenadavstånd till rulltrappan ner till stranden och gamla stan. Dock kuperat område med backar och ojämna trottoarer.
Detta är ett annex till Mirro Mardär du ska checka in och ut. Kontakten med receptionen kunde förbättras så att redan vid incheckning kunde de gett en tid förr upphämtning till utcheckningen. Upphämtningen borde vara gratis då du bor på hotellet.

Myself & my boyfriend stayed here for one week in September 2021.
The apartment was spotless & had great facilities with washing machine, dishwasher, cooker & fridge. Plates & cutlery were provided but no cleaning products such as clothes & washing up liquid. We were on the top floor & the views of the sea were lovely.
The beds are a little uncomfortable but thats personal preference & wasn't a huge issue.
Very close to the beach, Shops & amenities. Complex was very quiet & we had the pool to ourselves most days which was perfect.
The transfer to the apartment worked well because the keys need to be collected from a nearby hotel & we were brought from the airport to the hotel & then to our apartment for €45 which was reasonable. When leaving you do not need to revisit the hotel & so an uber might work out cheaper going back to the airport but we did not realise this at the time.

Overall this apartment is perfect, quiet, ideally located & we will definitely be back again!

Well located. Close to beaches, restaurants and shops. The size of the apartment was surprisingly big. Pool area is lovely. Downside was the noise at night of the noisy neighbours and by the poolside one guest fely it necessary to share his Playlist with the rest of the guests. We reported that as well as the noisy night guests and management quickly took action. Besides the noise, everything else was great.

This was a very last minute booking as our original accommodation was unsafe and unhygienic.

I booked late at night to check in the next day and rang the Cerro Mar reception to ask about an earlier check in. The receptionists were incredibly helpful and let us pick up our keys as soon as we could get there, they also arranged transport to collect our belongings and the rest of the group (14 in total) from our original accommodation and take us to the Silmar.

The apartments are spacious and well maintained. They were absolutely beautiful in comparison to where we had originally booked.

A shuttle was arranged to collect us at Silmar and take us to drop off our keys and we were able to use the facilities at the hotel while we waited for our flight.

Unfortunately we had stayed during lockdown so it wasn’t the best timing but we will definitely be returning and will be staying at Silmar again.

Very nice apartment in goog quiet location, but close to the old city and beach. We had one in 3rd floor. Theres a lot of space, big bathroom, good kitchen with all you need, very good view from balcony. everything was very clean. Parking on the street.

The Silmar apartments are located on a great street and serve beautiful views of the sea! The place was extremely clean and well maintained. Perfect for families / couples or a trip with friends. Recommend it for a long stay in Albufeira!

Very good appartments, well equiped with everything we needed, spacious, close to the center and to the beach, parking available in front of appartments, there is Spar close to the appartments, restaurants, bars,...

This is a great apartment in a great location, it has everything you need inside including a dish washer and washing machine,they are cleaned everyday and the outside space and pool are very good. It's a ten minute stroll to the escalators that take you to the beach and the old towns restaurants and bars, I would highly recommend it

Short 5 -10 minute stroll to the centre of the old town. Rooms are modern and very clean. Firm comfortable beds, rooms cleaned daily. Only negative is there was a few ants around the kitchen floor. It didn't have any negative effect on our stay.

We were very pleasantly surprised when we arrived at our apartment. Equipment included a washing machine and dishwasher. Apartment was very well laid out and right next to the pool area. A great cleaning service every day but often at around 3-4 pm ( ideally the morning would be better) first world problem I know. Beds were very comfortable and it’s in a quiet area close the old town. Bit of a hill to climb though so not suitable for anyone unable to do an uphill walk. I would definitely come to these apartments again

Stayed with a group of six friends in two apartments and had a wonderful time. Location was close enough to old town but quiet enough to get some sleep. The apartments were larger than expected for the price and were fully equipped with everything that we needed and more.
Had to pick up keys from a nearby hotel but was not any problem.
The rooms had sea views and had a communal swimming pool. There was a great little restaurant across the road and plenty more nearby.
All in all we had a fab stay here and will definately be back.
