Luxurious stay in Tallinn in a fantastic peaceful location
Pros:

Beautiful traditional hotel right in the heart of the old town. Wonderful, helpful staff who make you feel very welcome and much valued guests. All the staff were excellent, a special mention to Patrick for his outstanding service.
We received a room upgrade which was very much appreciated, larger garden room with a sumptuous bathroom which we didn’t want to leave, lovely heated floor.
We didn’t book a treatment but we made use of the hotel sauna which was excellent, great facility.
Breakfast was very good, with a good choice. As a Coeliac not being able to eat gluten, the staff ensured my cooked breakfast was safe. Great to have a freshly cooked breakfast each morning.
We loved our stay at the Schlossle and would happily recommend this charming hotel.

Cons:

As we had a garden room, we could have done with a tray to put our wet snowy boots on, but not a real problem as the bedroom slippers were lovely and comfortable.

Gorgeous Boutique Hotel
Pros:

Location of the hotel was central and ideal for exploring Old Tallinn. The room was very spacious. There was a very good selection at breakfast. The hotel was beautifully decorated for Christmas. Reception staff were very polite and attentive. The bed was very comfortable.

Cons:

It would have been nice to have a small mirror near the dressing table. The bath was in the corner of a very small tired bathroom, making showering tight. The shower pressure was very low. There was a smell of wood smoke in the bedroom at night which we made the staff aware of.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Schlössle Hotel, Tallinn — A Standout Stay in the Heart of the Old Town
Pros:

Our experience with the Schlössle Hotel began even before we reached the property. The timely arrival of our well‑dressed taxi driver at the airport set the tone for a seamless journey. The immaculate Mercedes provided a luxurious and comfortable ride, and the driver’s professionalism made the transfer feel effortless. At €45, we felt it was excellent value for the comfort and service provided.

As our car pulled up to the hotel, the standard of service rose even higher. The porter/concierge, Eric, timed his welcome to perfection — opening the taxi door with a warm greeting, addressing us by name, and inviting us into the foyer while he personally retrieved our luggage. His polished, attentive manner made an immediate impression.

Check‑in was handled by Igor, whose calm efficiency made the process smooth and unrushed. We were delighted to learn that we had been given a complimentary upgrade to a suite on the second floor to mark the occasion of a birthday surprise, very kindly arranged by my husband. A complimentary drink added a thoughtful touch to the warm welcome.

Eric then escorted us to our beautifully appointed suite, ensuring we were settled and had everything we needed. His care reinforced our first impressions: at the Schlössle, outstanding service is not an exception but the norm.

We also had the pleasure of meeting Melina K, a most pleasant and welcoming receptionist whose warm manner and helpful approach added greatly to our stay.

Breakfast at the Schlössle Hotel was another highlight. Served in a beautiful medieval dining room, complete with a cosy fire and a wonderfully calm atmosphere, it was the perfect start to each day. The self‑service selection offered an excellent variety of salads, breads, cereals, and yoghurts, all fresh and well presented. The menu was further enhanced by an Estonian version of an Ulster Fry, eggs cooked in any style imaginable, freshly made pancakes, and porridge prepared to order. The service was attentive, warm, and unhurried, and the overall ambience was simply wonderful.

The housekeeping team also deserves special praise. They were thorough, amenable, and consistently delivered an outstanding clean, leaving our suite immaculate each day. The thoughtful night‑time turndown service, complete with a tasty chocolate, was a lovely touch. The room itself offered everything we needed, including tea and coffee facilities, a room safe, a well‑stocked fridge, robes, slippers, and a trouser press.

It wasn’t long before we met Paudraig, another porter/concierge, whose professionalism and cheerful manner made every interaction a pleasure. No matter what we asked, he had an answer ready — knowledgeable, helpful, and always delivered with warmth. Remarkably, his outstanding service didn’t end when we left the hotel. At the airport, we heard someone call our names — there was Paudraig, offering once again to carry our bags (as well as his own). Truly exceptional service.

A memorable stay from beginning to end — made even better by the hotel’s perfect location in the heart of Tallinn’s Old Town, ideal for exploring the city’s charming streets, historic landmarks, and vibrant atmosphere.

Mahtavan loman voisi viettää poistumatta hotellista.
Pros:

Henkilökunta 🤩, aulan ja aamiaishuoneen takat.

Cons:

Pieniä haasteita siivouksessa, jotka kyllä sitten korjattiin. Huoneen lämpötilaa ei voinut säätää helposti.

Interesting boutique hotel. In an excellent location
Pros:

The location in the heart of the old city is excellent. Ancient architectural style. Very nice staff..
The entrance lobby is very cozy and inviting with a wood-burning stove.

Cons:

The room is small..the bed is small. Breakfast is good but not excellent. Because everything is small, the buffet is also small. Everything is covered by a pleasant and nice staff. It was difficult to arrange breakfast early due to an early flight. They require very early notice. They may be right...
