The Prospect Hollywood

Husband and I had an outstanding stay at the Prospect this past weekend. Kiki, the GM, is absolutely lovely and so hospitable. She made sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed as a guest. Highly recommend to anyone looking for an upscale experience close to the Hollywood Bowl and Hollywood and Highland.

The Prospect will make you feel like you've stepped back into the glamorous Golden Age of Tinseltown, but with all the technological advances of today. The design is gorgeous without being kitschy, and the staff are friendly and helpful.

This is my default stay whenever I'm in town. It's always a treat. All the little considerate extras; all the lovely touches; all the personal consideration. Strongly recommended.

This place is liking stepping back in time in old Hollywood, but with modern amenities and uber friendly staff. The courtyard patio was very lush, relaxing and a quiet retreat. I stayed in the Steve McQueen suite and it was spacious, luxurious and very nicely appointed.

My welcome drink (champagne and marcona almonds) was delivered to my room shortly after check-in. Ella Fitzgerald was playing on my tv from the hotels soundtrack and it took me to another time. I sipped the champagne listening to Ella and all was good 😊

If I could give the Prospect Hollywood a 15 rating, I would! The facility and customer service was impeccable. I would like to give a special thanks to: Nate delivered excellent drinks and interpersonal touches; Kiki is the manager and made the stay quite memorable; Kim was an example of what the next generation of guest services should look like! She is an absolute joy and asset to the organization. Key - not sure if that’s how to spell his name - he was great as well. Kudos to every member of the team there.

I have plans to visit LA again within the next 6 to 9 months and will definitely stay at Prospect Hollywood again. Thank you for the service! *Applause!

Our stay at The Prospect Hotel in Hollywood was nothing short of exceptional. From the first phone call until the moment we arrived, we knew we had found something special. This intimate, 24-room boutique hotel has a quiet, hidden gem quality that sets it apart from the typical cookie-cutter corporate options in the area.

Each room is uniquely designed with a distinct old Hollywood charm, and ours was absolutely beautiful—thoughtfully decorated and full of character. The property itself is just as impressive, especially the serene inner courtyard, complete with a fountain and cozy fire pits that make for the perfect evening atmosphere.

We were welcomed with sparkling wine upon arrival, which immediately set the tone for a warm and elevated experience. In the mornings, we enjoyed a delightful breakfast spread featuring fresh danishes, coffee, orange juice, and even mimosas—such a nice touch.

The hotel also offers secure off-street parking with 24-hour valet service, all at a very reasonable price—something that’s hard to come by in Hollywood.

However, what truly made our stay unforgettable was the people. From General Manager Kiki to Nathan, Key, Kim, and Sheena, every member of the staff was kind, professional, attentive, and genuinely enjoyable to talk with. Their hospitality went above and beyond and made us feel completely at home.

We cannot recommend The Prospect Hotel enough. It’s a beautiful escape that captures the spirit of old Hollywood while delivering a personalized and memorable experience.

10+ stars all the way—we will absolutely be back.

What a darling no it squeezed hotel! Five star service from start to finish! Lovely courtyard, spacious rooms beautifully designed and excellent location!!! I will absolutely choose this hotel again and again!!! 🥰🥰🥰

An almost perfect stay that was unfortunately only slightly marred by a broken room air conditioner on the final evening of the stay - had it been warmer it would’ve been a big struggle! Overall wonderful though, would highly recommend.

While in our hometown for a family reunion, we stayed at The Prospect Hollywood for 4 nights. What a great job the architects and designers did with this late-30's regency-style classic. Our loves included fire pits & lush garden, front-office lounge, fresh lemon water, morning light breakfast, coffee service, secured valet parking, and the design of our Carey Grant room. Mrs. T and I will be back, hopefully soon!

This place feels special. From the clean and quirky room, to the truly amazing service, I can’t say enough good things about it. The location is great (just up the block from Musso and Frank’s, one of our favorite spots!) and steps to Hollywood and Highland/the Dolby, would also only be a short walk to the Bowl! As Pantages season ticket holders, we like to make a Hollywood getaway of our Sunday matinee tickets and try to explore new areas or hotels. So glad we found this place! I am a sucker for a good tub so I had to book the room with the claw foot in the room. Was excited to learn that each room is a little different and named for different celebrities, so now we want to check them all out! (We stayed in the Bogart room). The service was wonderful and a huge shout out to my night service friend who helped my husband to our room when he didn’t have his key! ❤️ Grateful for this staff and this beautiful hotel. Really hope to be back soon.

This review is primarily because of how helpful Kim was! She was able to answer all of my questions and even suggest options for things I was looking for. Five stars for Kim alone!

We chose to stay at The Prospect based on the many glowing reviews. We were not disappointed. Everything about the property and service was spot on. We absolutely loved staying in the Marilyn Monroe room, such a beautifully designed space with everything you need and a super comfortable bed. The interior courtyard of the hotel offers such wonderful green sanctuary after a days sightseeing in the city. We loved sitting out by one of the fires as the evening air cooled to enjoy a drink or snack.
All of the staff we met during our 3 night stay were so kind, attentive and professional. They really couldn’t do enough for us.
We enjoyed our first LA experience, seeing many great sights. Staying at this amazing property was truly a part of a memorable few days!
