Classy, cute and very comfortable place conveniently located in a classic Hollywood area. The seated outdoor area in the garden is very lovely too, with its waterfall and fire features.

All the positive reviews are spot on! We were blown away by how lovely this place was. Gorgeous property, quiet and comfy room and the staff go above and beyond. We easily walked to the Hollywood Bowl and the Roosevelt from here. Don’t hesitate to book this fabulous hotel!

One of the wonderful hotel experiences!!! Everything about the Prospect was top notch, from walking into the lobby, the courtyards, the staff and the rooms!!! Oscar and the staff were beyond wonderful. It was quiet, elegant, peaceful & relaxing. My husband and I enjoyed our trip immensely. We attended at concert @ the Hollywood Bowl which we walked to...It was a phenomenal experience, cant wait to return.

We have been coming here for years and the Prospect never disappoints. From the friendly and welcoming front desk staff to the 1930s Hollywood touches in each room, the 24 rooms are named after icons from a different era, including Bette Davis, Omar Sharif, and Marilyn Monroe among others. The peaceful courtyard is the perfect spot to relax and rewind before a show at the Pantages or concert at the Hollywood Bowl. We can't wait for our next visit!

I loved my stay at the Prospect. I chose it based on its proximity to the Hollywood Bowl (which is walkable), but I would return for the great service and very peaceful vibe. The rooms and courtyard are truly lovely and you would never know you were in the middle of the city.

We had a outstanding stay. Easy walk to Hollywood Bowl. Staff and facility were outstanding. We will definitely go come and recommend to others.

It was my first stay at the prospect hollywood and it will most definitely NOT be my last. It was perfect from start to finish. Luis answered the front desk phone promptly and helped me figure out where to park for valet, greeted me upon arrival and helped me with checkin, valeting my car and carried my luggage up to the room for me all while sharing some of the cool hotel history! the hotel itself is quaint, serene and beautiful.
The hotel does a happy hour from 5-6 and made me a free welcome spritz. The array of plants in the courtyard was really impressive. The room itself was just stunning. i've seen some people complain about the strong scented rooms but they must really listen to customer feedback because it was very subtle but still smelled so good. The room had everything you needed and the bed was INSANELY comfortable I need to find out what sheets they use!! And let's talk about that mini bar OMG the selection was stunnninnnnn.
I would also like to shout out Ki and Jocelyn at the front desk. Jocelyn was so attentive and always had a smile on her face that was infectious. Ki was really kind and funny and a great conversationalist. The night person, Kevin was hospitable as well.
Kim did my Checkout and was another super friendly interaction.
Theres a bunch of great restaurants in the area, I tried two...Yamashiro for sushi and then late night Joes pizza delivered to the hotel!
I stayed there for a show at the Hollywood bowl, the walk was like 15 mns if that and I felt super safe there and back. Ubers were surprisingly cheap too.
I enjoyed the salad at the hotel for lunch it was very, very good. I'm looking forward to staying again soon and trying more of the light bites.
My stay was a 10/10 I cannot wait for my future visits and to share this special place with friends and family. Big thank you to everyone who made my short stay so memorable and special.

We were pleasantly surprised and delighted by this hotel. It will be our go-to when attending Hollywood Bowl events or other Hollywood activities. Walkable to lots of dining options too. The service was beyond outstanding, the location superb and the room classy, clean and comfortable. It's a little oasis in the city.

I can write a long list of amazing things about this hotel but I’ll keep it short. It’s an awesome rest quiet, comfortable, luxurious in themiddle of the madness of Hollywood in LA; a short walk from the major tourist attractions quiet courtyard great music by the sound of the fountain. the bedrooms are so well appointed and comfortable and match the actor or the actress whose name appears on the door, Marlon Brando room, which I had outstanding reflection of Mr. Brando you could almost hear Stanley call out Stella. The staff, including Kim and Oscar were impeccable, friendly multitasking with a service level that I haven’t seenin quite sometime in a hotel property. I look forward to staying here again or any of the other properties that are part of the common thread chain, service with the highest quality possible Thank you !!
