JW Marriott Hotel Bangkok

Truly amazing stay, 26-29Mar room 1834.
Everyone at the club lounge was exceptionally nice and professional, this is exactly inline with the JW brand..

We stayed at the JW Marriott Hotel Bangkok as part of an Avalon Waterways Mekong cruise tour. It was hard to decide whether to give this hotel a 3 or 4 star. The amazing breakfast buffet and friendly staff pushed it to the 4 star.

The breakfast buffet was nothing short of amazing. It was the biggest and most varied buffet I have seen in my travels to over 40 countries. My husband went all in for the asian cuisine with pho and dim sum every morning. I enjoyed the wide variety of offerings from dim sum to waffles with ice cream and eggs benedict.

The staff were top notch. They all greeted you in the most courteous and professional manner. We had an evening flight and being able to access the spa area for a quick shower after a hot day exploring Bangkok before a 30+ hour trip home was true hospitality.

So why did I only give a 4 star? The room we had was clean but small and there was basically no drawer space in the bedroom or bathroom. What drawers there were in the closet held the hair dryer, etc No drawersin the bathroom at all. This was at the end of a 3 week trip and our clean clothes were in a hanging bag for or 3 nights in Bangkok. We had to resort to making piles of undergarments on top of the safe area. Additionally, the hangers in the closet were so big that less than a dozen hangers filled the entire closet space. I would not have wanted this to be my home away from home for a week.

The property is in a very busy commercial area with many modern buildings and shopping malls within a 15 min taxi ride.
The staff is incredibly helpful! Beautiful pool and spa to relax by.

We enjoyed the friendly service, clean rooms, top end gym and lovely pool. All of the staff were extremely helpful answering any of our questions in English

Travelling to BKk regularly for work , I am not getting any second thought to opt JW Marriot . One to best hotel In my travel history , not because it is five star or luxury hotel but the people / staff who make u feel special . Whether it is from Gate security to Lounge all the staff is very friendly and best to thier business .
Especially ground staff who received u from ur car and guide you outside are very help ful special mention to K Sam , K pond , K Khim and K Lek . They are soo good , always smiling and ready to help you .
Staff in Restaurant and Lounge are so good that they never let me feel if I m outside of my home.

Facilities including Gym , Spa , meetings rooms , laundry service ,room service everything is amazing.

​I recently stayed at the JW Marriott Bangkok and it was truly an outstanding experience from start to finish. If you are looking for top-tier service and luxury in the heart of the city, this is it.

​Here are a few highlights from my stay:

​The Room & Facilities: The rooms are very well-appointed and spacious. I was particularly impressed by the excellent cleanliness throughout the property. The pool area is also a fantastic spot to relax and unwind.

​The Welcome: From the moment I arrived, the welcome amenities were excellent and made me feel right at home.

​A Personal Touch: What really set this stay apart was the attention to detail. I was traveling for a friend’s birthday, and the Front Office team noticed the occasion during check-in. Without me even saying a word, they surprised us with a birthday cake! It was such a thoughtful gesture and a wonderful surprise.

​Housekeeping: A huge shout-out to the housekeeping staff! Not only were they professional, but they were also incredibly friendly. They left sweet handwritten notes with cute drawings, which added such a warm, personal touch to the room.

​I cannot recommend this hotel enough. The staff truly goes out of their way to make your stay memorable. Highly recommended!

Very impressed with our short stay at JW MARRIOTT HOTEL BANGKOK. All staff are a credit to Management. Impeccable service and very high standards for every hotel amenity. Highly recommended and we will certainly return for a liner stay.

Everything here is excellent.. the food and service in the executive lounge is amazing (Wednesday night BBQ - yum!, location is very convenient to Bumrungrad, and the staff is phenomenal. Timmy in housekeeping really made our stay special with special touches that made us smile each day in our room.

Highly recommend this location for an excellent stay in Bangkok.

Breakfast was amazing

Stayed here in 2024 and me and my wife come back in January 2026 to start our 3 months travel adventure for three nights stay . We love the hotel , the location and the staff are incredible . Concierge team led by William are all so pleasant and welcoming. We will be back on our next visit to Thailand . We used your car service from and back to the airport and it worked perfectly. Keep up the great work

Stayed for 3 nights in early March in a King room on a high floor. The room was spacious for two, and all necessary amenities (and ample drinking water) were provided. Not sure if it was because we left a tip for housekeeping, but we had cute animal towels on our bed along with a lovely note - that made our day. Service was also good overall.

Breakfast was great - there was a huge spread with noodles, eggs, pancakes/waffles live stations. There was a variety of chinese, thai, western, indian cuisines.

The hotel's location is busy but pretty good. It was extremely warm when we were there, so we took a grab from place to place.

Wouldn't say that it's particularly value for money though, as the rack rate was pretty high compared to many other hotels in the area during our stay, and it's so competitive in Bangkok.

The rooms, pool and restaurant and food) were excellent but the help from concierge Ken was fantastic. The afternoon we arrived he was able to book a dinner cruise for six of us for that same evening, along with helping us figure out the best and cheapest way to go which was much appreciated. Then the next day after our tours he booked for us a driver to take us to the train market and to the floating market and it was spectacular. He told us not to worry he would take care of us and he did. Thank you so much for our wonderful time there we hope someday to come back. Read it

Had a wonderful lunch buffet at JW Marriott today. The spread was impressive with a great variety of fresh and delicious selections, from appetisers to desserts — every dish was beautifully presented and enjoyable.

Special appreciation to Gg, who is currently a trainee. Despite being new, Gg was very attentive, polite, and proactive throughout the dining experience. Truly commendable service with a warm and professional attitude.

A lovely dining experience overall. Definitely a place I would recommend for a relaxing and quality lunch buffet. Looking forward to visiting again! 😊
