I felt unsafe there
Pros:

I am disappointed with how JW Marriott Juhu, Mumbai, handled a serious safety concern during my stay. I reported sexually inappropriate behavior by a personal trainer at the hotel gym and expected a trauma-informed, guest-centered response focused on safety, accountability, and resolution.

Instead, the process extended over four days, involved repeated calls from multiple staff members, and required me to recount the experience multiple times. This was re-triggering, disruptive, and stressful. The situation was so exhausting that I had to extend my stay just to find peace, and I was never clearly informed what steps were being taken.

During my stay, I also requested that a female staff member accompany a male tailor to my room for safety. This request was initially discouraged and required repeated insistence before being accommodated. This, combined with the unresolved trainer issue, made me feel unsafe in the hotel.

The complaint was handled by senior staff, but the response felt dismissive and did not provide reassurance, clarity, or resolution. I was not assured that the trainer was spoken to, suspended, or removed, which left me feeling unsettled.

I have stayed at five-star hotels around the world, including multiple Marriott properties, and I have never experienced such a prolonged, exhausting, and unclear response to a safety concern. Guests — especially women and international travelers — should be aware that safety complaints may not be adequately addressed.

I hope the hotel reflects seriously on how such complaints are handled in the future.

Great stay on business
Pros:

Stayed here on a business trip. This was a great hotel and staff made the experience terrific! Had a fantastic massage and facial from Ratan, and Peavin (sp?) Yeda at the spa was very helpful.

The Lounge was a great place to gather with colleagues and enjoy a drink and food. The lounge staff were incredible as well, especially Harsh.

Nice, professional spa, look for Ratan!
Pros:

I went to the spa twice and had a wonderful experience because of the amazing Ratan. She was excellent, very friendly and was very intentional, zero distractions and very calm.

The hotel is going through renovations so there might be some noise at times, but of course this was outside the control of Ratan and the Spa team.

Loved the location next to the beach and beach fast food . Prime location. Room was gorgeous yet homely. Dining area was great, so much choice in morning breakfast. No noise at all, very plush. The poolside is so lagoon like . Staff all great with nameste.

Savio Mendonca - the true asset of the hotel
Pros:

We stayed in this hotel in August and were delighted with it.
The lounge in particular was great.

However, the best thing about the Mumbai Juhu hotel was the manager Savio Mendonca - we were stuck at the international airport without a phone and unable to check in for our flight (totally helpless!) and he was found by a security guard by chance as our airline wasn't responding - he then solved every problem we had when we weren't even staying at the hotel and he had no obligation to help us that day.
We are eternally grateful and can't imagine better service from anyone. Highly recommend him and wherever he is in service. Thank you.

Best service and best Ambience.
Pros:

Honestly JW Juhu has been our favourite since a while, it is not just because of the postive ambience that it has, but because of the people, the service, the cleanliness, the atmosphere and the Value for Money.

We came in for our Anniversary breakfast and Lalit and the entire team made sure to make us feel most comfortable and render the best hospitality.

Safety of my three year old
Pros:

I was staying with my wife and three year old daughter. Near the pool area they have a sort of automatic doors which only open when a guest of the property staying in the premises access it with a key card. Today at around 6pm while entering the property from the pool area with the said automatic doors opened my daughter slipper slipped from her leg. While she was trying to wear her slipper the doors starting closing. Thank god for a Good Samaritan who stopped the doors from closing with his foot.
If you care about the safety of your family then don’t leave them alone in the property for even one second.
