We stayed in this motel several times before..Its clean, quiet, staff is polite. On one occasion my husband had a medical emergency and the staff was very helpful in a stressful situation.
Kinda sketchy place. Checked me into an uncleaned room. Switched rooms. Looks okay, but it seems to have a wet moldy smell...
Tried to make the best of ths booking, but I will say find another place.
Good points: Clean lobby and convenient restaurant next door and behind the motel. Bad points. Hair and bugs in the shower. Ratty window treatments. After cleaning the tub water backed up while showering. Stains on comforters. Room had an odor and had to purchase lysol to disinfect the entire room. I guess you get what you pay for. A lesson well learned and will never return.
Bath room was dirty and shower pressure was low.
Communication barriers.
It took a night before fixing fridge or t.v. without any suggestion of how to make it better, like full/partial refund.
The. 2nd night of booking i noticed the gentleman indeed refunded the firt night, however the ill trained manager, Caitlin, put the charge back thru. Overall, not recommended
It was okay- expensive for the quality, not super clean, outdated- looked more like a dorm room than a hotel, but the staff was friendly and the bed was comfortable. It was 10 min from downtown.
My truck was broken into and when I asked the guy in the office to call the police, he asked, don't you have a phone? I then asked if he could look at the cameras that are mounted on the roof, and he stated he didn't have access to them. And finally, I asked if they had a computer and printer available so I could print my boarding pass, and he stated you can do that at the airport. I wish I had spent a few extra dollars and stayed next door!
The rooms were very warm and because they were so warm, they smelled bad. The room never got cooled off under 76 degrees. That made it really hard to sleep. Everything else was subpar.
Bad bed. Cool shower
Very unclean and run down. Wouldn’t be surprised if the hotel is either shut down or goes through a complete rehab process within a year. Beds, sheets, towels, shower carpet, doors, refrigerator, walls, lights are all either filthy or not working.
Quite old and run down. Towels were soft water pressure was good.
The room smelled moldy when we walked in. It wasn't until the next morning I saw black on the wall near the AC and saw black spores on the AC vents. The refrigerator was actually a freezer and froze all of our food. When I went to say something to the staff he didn't understand what I was saying because of a language barrier. Very disappointed.
Needs Major Updates
Dirty hotel homeless people sleeping in the bushes outside and they over charged me $700
I checked in around 530pm and front desk was nice. Got to our room and the odor was very strong. Then we saw that the sink was leaking all over the countertop bathroom very dirty carpet dirty to the point where we didn’t even take our shoes off needed to iron clothes. They have no irons in the rooms but yet have ironing boards when I said something to the front desk he was very nice however could not find me an iron when I told him about the sink. he asked if I wanted to change rooms. I said I couldn’t at this time because we were getting ready to leave for an event got back after our event around 11:30pm talk to him again about changing rooms due to the sink leaking so bad that it was all over the floor and the water filled our entire garbage. Can that was in the bathroom he told me since it was past 4 PM I could not switch rooms which that didn’t make any sense since I checked in after 4 PM air conditioning had the room full of moisture to the point that I don’t know if we were breathing in mold or not because that’s what the room smelled like couldn’t take it any longer so checked myself and four kids, including a babyout at 6 AM the hotel and rooms do not in my opinion look like what is posted on Expedia in a sketch neighborhood if anyone asked me if they should book here I would tell them no.
Refrigerator did not get as cold as it should have. Damage on bottom corner of both office doors very hazardous to guests feet / ankles.
Good
I’m came to Kansas City because my coded and I reserved this place to be close to the hospital. I checked but left n went to the hospital to stay with my mom got back the bathroom ceiling is falling in pictures below water was everywhere so they offered me another room. The next was a little better but it has mold everywhere in there n the customer service that gave me the first room with ceiling falling was there I got ready to check out n she said u don’t check out until tomorrow I said ok good because I have to do some funeral home business n stuff this morning. Mind u my 19 year old grandson was still there sleep. I get to the bank to start handling my moms business n she calls n say ma’am it’s ur check out I said u just told me tomorrow so I had to leave go get my grandson n she says im sorry I said its sorry my whole stay here.So another lady called the manager which was not any help. Ill never stay there again. They said they just bought the hotel 3weeks ago n the are remodeling.
This is a hospital visit, so not thinking much about accomodations.
