We were are your Court Motel right downtown and we walked the the Pancake House for a great breakfast. We had a great sleep on a very comfortable bed and a wonderful shower in a very clean room. Such a great value in such a beautiful location in MI.

Steps from the Ferry
Pros:

Just steps away from town and ferry

Cons:

Towels were cheap, only got 2 smaller ones, and very thin. lobby closed and couldn't get extra. Beds were uncomfortable, walls paper thin. Whole placed smelled terrible and rooms smelled of marijuana coming out of room windows. Overpriced for the quality of the rooms.

Refrigerators are off & poor customer service
Pros:

When you arrive, you will find the refrigerator OFF and the door open. If you have medication, baby food, dairy products etc. that need to come out of your cooler after a day of travel …into a refrigerator…, if will take 4-6 and possibly up to 12 hours for it to be safe to put them in these refrigerators. I have stayed in thousands of hotels and never have I encountered a hotel or motel that leaves the refrigerators off and open. The front desk staff and manager on duty seemed surprised that this not the norm, looked at me like I had 2 heads, told me to make sure it was plugged in, on and said it would cool quickly, which is simply not the case. They didn’t offer to put our items in a hotel refrigerator until ours could come down to a safe temperature. So, in addition to us having to make efforts to keep our items cold we feel we received a poor response to our concerns.

As far as the other room details, it is older but clean, good TV channels and bed/pillows were ok. Good location to be able to walk to things. These things were outweighed by us having to make extra efforts due to the refrigerator and the poor response from staff regarding that.

Outdated but comfy
Pros:

Location was amazing and the beds are very comfy

Cons:

Outdated fridge was unplugged and blood or somrthing red was on the floor next to it. The aircondioner was completely off and it smelled a little musty
