Our room was spacious and very clean. The bathroom was large enough and very clean as well. They had a small coffee pot which was nice so you could have more than one cup of coffee. Everything we wanted to do was within walking distance which was great! Very close to a variety of restaurants and an easy walk to the ferry
We reserved a king room. There was a "water leak" and so they moved us to a double queen room that was larger but still charged me for a king room which I did not think was fair when my friend who booked a queen was also moved to an identical room but paid less than me. We had read that the hotel would give you a coupon towards breakfast but that was not true. We looked forward to using the hot tub because we were on motorcycles and the hot tub was very sandy & dirty and did not work. So that was a big disappointment.
The place is older but clean. Big room.Beds were ok. Hot tub jets not working, just hot water to sit in! Pool ok, water was cool. Lots of sand on the bottom of the hot tub. Person working desk was nice . Close to ferry and downtown . No breakfast so you have to walk somewhere
Hot tub not working and hasn't been for awhile.
Friendly staff, location was close to everything, very quiet.
Everything
Great location, very nice staff
Very outdated, just felt a little dirty. Didn’t give us any soap either
Location was great. Easily caught shuttle to nearby ferry.
There are no elevators. Thankfully we could still get first floor rooms. Place is a bit out dated but looks like most in the area.
Right location
No elevator
Nice hotel, was right downtown. In walking distance to everything.
Hotel was dated.
Beds were comfortable and room was huge!
Close proximity to downtown
70 yr old on 2nd floor with no elevator does not make a happy camper- large suitcase to tug and pull
location and price
Rooms werent cleaned daily..
It is right in the middle of town. Just a five minute walk to the ferry, a 1 minute walk to the closest shops.
The shower head sprayed the water really hard, but other than that it was great.
Clean and roomy
Perfect location. Loved it all.First time to travel to Michigan and we chose Mackinaw.
Everything was great! No complaints on anything. Room was clean, comfortable and great location.
Cleanliness, staff was friendly
Poor lighting in the room , said pool was heated but very cold , no breakfast.
We were are your Court Motel right downtown and we walked the the Pancake House for a great breakfast. We had a great sleep on a very comfortable bed and a wonderful shower in a very clean room. Such a great value in such a beautiful location in MI.
I can’t think of anything we didn’t like
This older hotel is very basic but met our needs. Beds were comfortable; room was clean. We did have to plug in the fridge, but it cooled pretty quickly. It's easily walkable to dining, shopping and the ferry, which was nice because we could leave our car at the hotel and not have to pay for parking at the ferry. We did not use the pool or hot tub.
Just steps away from town and ferry
Towels were cheap, only got 2 smaller ones, and very thin. lobby closed and couldn't get extra. Beds were uncomfortable, walls paper thin. Whole placed smelled terrible and rooms smelled of marijuana coming out of room windows. Overpriced for the quality of the rooms.
