Hotel Argana

Absolutely terrible experience. Dirty sheets, human waste in the toilet, mouldy bathrooms, unsafe electrics, broken heating, noisy rooms by fire exits, and awful Wi-Fi. Reported issues were ignored, and no alternative was offered. I had to leave and pay for other accommodation. Unsafe, unhygienic, and nothing like advertised—do not stay here.

Amazing atmosphere ambiance and hospitality. From entrance, to diner, animation team! Delicious food and great spa experience! Love the hotel and will come back!

Maryam reception manager is the best is very friendly, professional and polite. The hotel is very clean. The lifeguards are very kind and clean the pool all the day. The rooms are very beautiful with sea view. The girls of the spa are very good. The waitres of restaurant are very nice. I recommend all the staff only the reception manager of the night was always really rude. The show and staff of animation are perfect. Thank you so much for all.

Fantastic stay at Hotel Argana! The food was delicious, the spa incredibly relaxing, and our room was spotless and very comfortable. The staff went above and beyond... truly an unforgettable experienced!

Very very noisy and busy. Way too noisy music, rediculously loud. On a huge busy road, view of MacDonalds, an unpleasant scruffy walk to the beach. Poorly managed restaurant, not enough cups, spoons or glasses. Pool freezing!

Nice location, the room is fine and clean, there is everything what you need. Small fridge, kettle. The breakfast is the same every morning but it is ok wide selection

This was our second stay here within a year! Get booking.

We took a holiday package via Jet2, admittedly booked last minute so didn't read finer details which surprised us(ideally had been reflected in reviews already)

1. Food: we are veggies, food options are quite limited for veggies - sometimes non existent. The restaurant staff did help cook pasta for the kids but wouldn't recommend as a tasty option.

2. WiFi - please do not depend on hotel WiFi as it is practically nonexistent. Throughout our stay we saw kids in common lounge areas for WiFi on their devices and in our room we had to angle phones in specific angles to get it. Instead there are free SIM offers on the airport with data packs - cannot survive without that

3. Swimming pools - the main pool is big, very cold given weather. We couldn't really have a dip for longer than 5 seconds, but the area around was lovely and lounge chairs were neatly maintained.
The second swimming pool promise for kids is a sham - it is basically a teeny pool of water about ankle deep with no play things

4 - kids club and play area - There are ongoing activities for the kids which can keep them entertained for a couple of hours. But you have to be around to supervise. The kids play area is also tiny, smashed into the back end of the hotel which is quite tight. This was a surprise for us after having seen huge properties in Canaries, but maybe this is normal here

5 - Room amenities - They offer a kettle in the room, but two tea bags are provided on day one and not replenished during your stay.Towels you have to ask, our family room bathroom was a disappointment but the beds were good size, furnishings clean and well maintained. TV had YouTube and Netflix which was welcome entertainment.

6- Evening entertainment - There were lots of activities in the evening..my son was really upset the snake charmer were using the snakes as playhtings but enjoyed the dance and karaoke nights. We didn't use this much as the kids are still young.

7 - Beach - this is quite a good 12min walk down a dodgy road. I missed reading this clearly in the reviews. But the beach itself is sandy, good to play but again be prepared for chilly winds.

8 - Spa - This was slightly pricey than other places but the service was amazing and very convenient. Highly recommend the Hamam, massage and Facial, but pedicure is not worth the while.

9 - Jet2 - This was our first Holiday via Jet2 - very impressed with the service, transfers and in flight food options etc.

Had a great experience in the arganine spa one of the best I’ve ever had !!!!! Had amazing tonning massage ! My mother also had a great facial will be back !!!

Hotel was good also food was good great choice for everyone !

Terrible experience!
We paid for family room that has been allocated next to night club/ terrible music was played until 4 am . We requested to change room and what a surprise we have been given smelly 3 persons ( not family room that we paid for ) with blocked toilet . Bathrooms extremely small - hardly could move under shower . Food very average and what is worst you are in 4 star hotel but not drinks offered lunch and dinner - you have to pay even for water

Met up with a friend at the hotel ,the reception staff were very helpful and gave us rooms next door to each other , the hotel was kept spotlessly clean the whole time we were there ,all the staff were friendly and welcoming ,the girl who cleaned our room and changed our towels everyday left the room immaculate ,the floors were cleaned everyday and the room was left feeling fresh and helped make the whole experience wonderful .Our rooms were on a lovely terrace where you could sit at the many tables and look down on the pool, .where there was a number of things to do during the day with the animation eg, morning stretching , darts,table tennis, dance class aqua aerobics etc the animation were very helpful, I have no complaints at all and look forward to going back in 2026.Thsnk you all for a fantastic stay 🤗😎😊

We stayed one night on Christmas Eve as a group of 11 and had a very poor experience. None of the four rooms we booked had working heating during winter, and the hot water was only lukewarm. One room had no lights at all, and another had faulty drains. Our group included very vulnerable guests, including a 93-year-old, a dementia patient, and pregnant women, which made the situation especially concerning.
We were placed on the first floor without being told that the heating on that floor was completely broken. We only found out after paying, which felt misleading. Staff promised multiple times to send electric heaters, but none ever arrived, and we were later told they didn’t have any. Despite repeatedly raising our concerns, we were left to spend the night in freezing rooms.
Reception staff gave us contradictory information, even scolding us for informing another guest about the heating issue, while later claiming they inform all guests at check-in. We were told to wait until the manager arrived the next day, which was unhelpful given we were only staying one night.
The next morning, the manager offered lunch and a late checkout as compensation, neither of which benefited us. We also asked to cancel a prepaid hammam booking due to lost trust in the hotel, but were refused a refund, despite other guests reportedly being offered free access. The manager, Adil’s, responses were dismissive and inconsistent, and we ultimately left feeling misled, poorly treated, and extremely disappointed. We were told to wait for some sort of confirmation from his higher up, but were left without any sort of conclusion or genuine apology. Many other guests also had this experience.

Nice hotel and very nice staff they are very friendly and helpful we enjoyed our stay as well sure we will come back again thanks all specially Hanane from the reservation and all reception staff

I enjoyed my stay at the hotel. The staff were so accommodating and the rooms were clean. I personally found the bed a little uncomfortable, but not enough to distract me from recommending it. The location is close by the amenities so you're never far away from the beach or the city if you prefer. Hotel Argana was good value for money, so would recommend
