The Westin Josun Busan

Marriott elite members are valued. Very modern and renovated rooms. Very clean. Breathtaking beautiful views of the beach. Best location in Haeundae. Only steps to the beach and away from busy streets but walkable to surrounding restaurants. Lounge bar had great cocktails. Every staff from cleaners to waiters to front desk went above snd beyond. Had an amazing time. Can't wait to go back.

Everything was just great! Many thanks to Kinam Kim for the help. The reception staff were extremely professional and kind. The view was beautiful, and both the breakfast and evening bar were delicious. I also really appreciate that the hotel is family-friendly and provides two large beds in the room. The location was breathtaking. Thank you so much!

Thank you, Paul Do!!!!! This was our first time in Busan and we were here to celebrate a birthday. Paul was so nice and accommodating as soon as we arrived. Paul made our experience so memorable and we told all of our friends and family about how amazing he was and how he made our trip so easy. We want to have our wedding in at the Westin Josun Busan because of Paul!

I stayed stayed here with my family while visiting Busan. The prime location of this hotel, with Haeundae Beach at the back and Dongbaek Island at the front, made the visit very enjoyable. The hospitality at the concierge service made the overall experience much more pleasant. Personal thank you to our concierge agent Hyemin Kim for the superb service to make our stay so special.

Our 4-night stay starting March 24th was perfect, thanks to the amazing staff. Young-ri at the front desk was the highlight of our visit. She was so helpful and attentive to all our needs, making us feel right at home. It’s rare to find such high-quality service these days.

We had a wonderful stay for 4 nights in April. Hotel is clean, comfortable and the location and views are spectacular. Check in was efficient and the staff explained how the Bonvoy Platinum benefits worked. The breakfast buffet in Camellia is wonderful - much variety, a noodle soup station, eggs or omelets to order and a wide array of other choices. The sauna was perfect - very relaxing. The pool was very nice. The lounge was a nice was to end the day - and the food options changed each day. It's not gourmet dining quality, but it was excellent. And the drink options were plentiful. The service is what makes the stay perfect. Our flight on 4/10 to Jeju was cancelled due to weather so we had to stay an extra night. The front desk made the transition to another room as painless as possible - a bellman came and took our bags to the new room (our current room was not available) and gave us our keys - we didn't need to go down to the front desk. Also the bellmen at check in and check out were very helpful. Jin Woo Jang collected our luggage at check out and called for a taxi to the Busan airport. He was professional, friendly and very helpful. Thank you Mr. Jin Woo Jang. I hope this review helps other travelers chose to stay at Westin Josun Busan.

The facilities were nice, the restaurants were great as well, though the air conditioning was a bit too cold in the restaurant and the cafe too

We were fortunate to have Harley Pyo as our duty manager at the Westin club when we arrived. After a long journey to get to the hotel, Harley was friendly, smiling, and a welcoming presence. He immediately found us window side seats for my family and greeted us with drinks. We wanted to know about the history of Busan and he sat down and shared his knowledge with us. Throughout the next few days he gave us advice on what to see, places to eat, and things to do. Every time we would return in the evening to the Westin club, he would check in on us with our experiences and made our stay so personal and inviting. We would visit a hotel like this just because of staff members like Harley Pyo! Westin Josun is fortunate to have a duty manager like Harley.

Location: just far enough from the crowd but still close to everything else
Atmosphere: old school charm
Rooms: comfortable with great views, love the chaise for seating
Value: good
Cleanliness: impeccable
Noise level: not the quietest but never bothersome
Service: staff is what makes this place outstanding; everyone is friendly, specially the front desk/concierge and Club staff; they got to know my habits, e.g., eating Korean breakfast with chopsticks so they bring them automatically to my table; and friendly and caring, had regular conversations with them even with those who had some difficulty with English; noticed the same level of engagement with other guests
Amenities: gym is modern and though popular, never had to wait for a machine; did not try the pool but is large and has dedicated lap area

Incredible stay at the Westin Josun Busan last week. The ocean views are beyond stunning and this is one of the rare properties where the beach view upgrade is absolutely worth it. Don’t second guess it!

Highly recommend taking a quick walk around the island behind the hotel for great photo spots. And if you’re in Busan, don’t miss Standard Bread a short walk away.

I did have an issue during my stay with my room, but Harley handled it exceptionally well. He was empathetic, responsive, and resolved quickly and professionally.

One of the top Westin’s in the world. Would definitely stay here again.

Great classic hotel, very family friendly. Beautiful views and right next to parks with amazing birds. Harley is the manager in charge of happy hour and he was attentive and welcoming and very funny! He made us crazy creative drinks and was super engaging. Thanks for the Harley Sunset, Harley!
