Pros:

The location is very central, breakfast is good.

Cons:

We woke up at 6.00 am by a false fire alarm, waited around 20 minutes outside and by the check-out no one even said any word like "we are sorry".

I attended my masonic meeting, my wife shopped, we sightseed. Excellent.
Pros:

Location perfect. Breakfast excellent. Staff most helpful. We will be using the same hotel next time we visit Edinburgh.

Cons:

The weather... it rained all week. But the hotel always had an umbrella available.

Beutiful, elegant,Hotel in a superb location.
Pros:

This is a very elegant Hotel in the heart of the New Town in Edinburgh. Fabulous location. Beautiful building. We had a lovely, clean room. The staff without exception were very friendly, especially those in the bar and at reception, which was extremely efficient.

Cons:

Breakfast though was a little disappoinmting. The hot food on the buffet was done to death, and even the freshhly cooked items were not the best.

Comfortable hotel with super staff and great central location.
Pros:

Very comfortable stay in a large room with a great walk in shower. Staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful.

Cons:

Don’t really have anything bad to say except we had no robes in our room and hall carpets were looking grubby in high traffic corridors.
