Pan Pacific Xiamen

I’ve stayed here several times and this last visit was the best. All the staff are do friendly from the front desk to housekeeping. Great central location and the rooms are large, well appointed, and very comfortable. Hard to best for ghe price.

The location worked well for us although it is a little far from Zhongshan Road Pedestrian Street. Didi was convenient throughout our stay and the nearest metro station, Jianye Road, is only about 200 metres away. Being just one stop from the Cruise Centre Station for the ferry to Gulangyu Island was a bonus. Behind the hotel is Huwei Mountain Park, which is a lovely spot for a good hike with rewarding views. We also enjoyed walking around the residential estate opposite the hotel to get a feel of the local xiaoqu vibe.

The hotel is rated five stars but the room design felt slightly dated. Our biggest disappointment was the small television. It is high time for the hotel to replace the televisions and refresh the overall look. The carpet also added to the dated feel. Personally, I prefer rooms without carpet for a cleaner and more modern touch. The beds and pillows were comfortable. This is not a hotel for anyone expecting high tech features such as robots, automated curtains or smart toilets.

On the positive side, the human touch at Pan Pacific was excellent. The staff were warm, friendly and consistently attentive. Service was top notch and always delivered with genuine smiles from the moment we arrived.

The breakfast buffet was superb in both variety and quality, although the Japanese items such as sushi and miso soup were not quite up to the same standard.

We stayed in a Pacific Club room which came with access to the Club Lounge for drinks and light bites. The selection was modest, which is understandable given the smaller number of patrons.

Overall, it was a pleasant and comfortable stay. We would return again and look forward to seeing whether the hotel makes improvements in the areas we highlighted.

Great spa and pool

Bed is very comfortable and the room is very spacious. Bathroom facilities and the bathtub are also a real highlight. The staff are all very hospitable and friendly to assist you with anything. The only slight thing to be desired was a bigger TV as the screen is a bit small if you watched it from the bed, but other than that there’s nothing really to nitpick.

I chose Xiamen Pan Pacific Hotel for my trip to Xiamen this time, and its location is really convenient—there's a subway station right at the entrance. The bedding in the hotel room is very comfortable, so I slept soundly. The breakfast has a wide variety, especially the local snack counter, where I can taste authentic Xiamen flavors.

This hotel offers good value for money, and I'd like to stay here again on my next trip to Xiamen.

A great 3 nights stay. It is a convenient location with a train station nearby. The hotel staff is very helpful and generally the service was great.
The breakfast spread was simple

It’s our first trip to Xiamen and we chose to stay at Pan Pacific on the Club Lounge package. We had a great experience, especially with the Club Lounge service by Ms.Haley and Housekeeping service by Ms.Ludy.

Ms.Ludy from the Housekeeping service was very helpful and accommodated our requests for the various types of pillows and aromatherapy scents. She also helped to ensure our complimentary laundry service was taken care of with the clothing returned to us the next day.

Ms. Doris Cai and Ms. Eve He from the guest relations team were most helpful to address our queries prior to our arrival. Their advice were important for our decision to stay at Pan Pacific.

We will definitely choose to stay here again in the future.

We chose Pan Pacific because of its reputation in Singapore. And we were not disappointed. Our room was very clean with plenty of storage space. We could even ring house-keeping and asked for different pillows based on the pillow chart in the room. We especially liked the shower head in the bathroom which had a good water pressure; very important after being out all day tripsing in the warm Xiamen weather. The front desk and concierge were very helpful in suggesting places to eat and ringing and checking reservations for us. We had dinner one night at the Chinese restaurant in the hotel. The food and service was good; would recommend if like us, you are too comfortable in the hotel after a day out. I gave the hotel 4 /5 stars because of one drawback: that the curtains in the room were not totally blackout curtains. For a light sleeper like myself, the sunlight coming through in the morning did interrupt my sleep. Apart from this minor point, we had enjoyed our stay in the hotel and would certainly choose this hotel should we visit Xiamen again.

Good room, good location for me

Location: Good accessibility to the metro and a couple of nearby supermarkets, shops etc.

Room: Enjoyed the amenities, shower pressure and fluffy towels.

Service: Called down to replace the original pillows which were too flat and Ms 叶美兰 promptly swapped them out and also recommended a nearby walking trail and places to eat along Zhong Shan Pedestrian Street. The concierge helped to connect me to the tour operator when the tour counter at the lobby was unmanned. Overall I appreciated the warm and welcoming attitudes from the staff.

Pan Pacific Hotel in Xiamen for the location are perfect for me to enjoy the Chinese cuisine - Dim sum lunch in house.

The age of the hotel is becoming apparent despite the grandeur in both the common areas and the rooms.

Overall a good stay at a decent price, but breakfast spread and room lighting can be improved.
Location is rather central within the city but not particularly near any major attraction or activity hotspot

I was accompanying my partner who uses this hotel regularly for business travel and had a very relaxing comfortable stay.
The rooms are spacious and can definitely recommend the spa, pool and gym.
The staff is very forthcoming making a big effort to ensure you are comfortable and bridging possible language barriers with a smile.
Special thank you for Alan and his breakfast team who created a lovely start of the day with a smile, a poolside seat and my favorite coffee.

The seafood is delicious, the service is very prompt, and the environment is excellent.
We went and had lunch at Caesar's on 3 and it was a really pleasant experience. Authentic and delicious f ood, host was super friendly. Great experience. Would definitely recommend

The hotel is conveniently located close to the cruise terminal and a Metro station. The English speaking check in person wasn’t the most friendly one, but maybe he just had a bad day. Rooms are reasonably large and comfortable. Some parts of the room are in die need of refurbishment. The bathroom door frame was partly gone door to the constant moisture, and some of the furniture has seen better days. Housekeeping service was inconsistent with certain days replenishing bathroom amenities and none the next day. Bedsheets were not changed during our 6 days stay

1. 酒店员工态度不好。我们问东西，她说：“你们不能全部都一起问吗？”

2. 你给我们“升房三级” 到太平洋会所房，却没有行政礼遇。

众所周知，会所房其实只是高级房或者豪华房。价格更高只是因为加了行政礼遇。

因为我们没有行政礼遇，这算是降级，比我们应该有的的精致套房是更低级的房间

3. 睡眠不好

1. Rude staff. We were asking something and the person said "can't you ask everything at once"

2. You "triple upgrade" us to Pacific club room without club access.

It is common knowledge that the basic club room is the same as a superior/Deluxe room but paying more for the club lounge.

Because we didnt have the lounge access, This is a downgrade from the "double upgrade" studio suite.

3. Sleep experience was bad
