Lovely few day away in Sorrento staying at Hotel Belair, definitely 4 stat rather than 5!
Pros:

We had a lovely stay at the Hotel Belair, although I'm not sure I would rate it 5 star. The view of the Bay of Naples was amazing. Lovely walk down to the Marina. A voucher to the nearby beach club was an added bonus.

Cons:

We couldn't quite put our finger on it, but we just didn't feel we quite got the 5 star experience. The bathroom was outdated and our room was not sound proof ( we could hear toilets flushing and showers). We also had a mould / damp smell in the room. A pleasant 15/ 20 minute walk to the centre of Sorrento. We didn't feel staff were that attentive and didn't make us feel special.

Un hôtel avec un superbe potentiel pour des vacances de rêves mais où des mesures doivent être prises pour aligner tout

L’emplacement, la vue, la qualité des installations. La disponibilité du personnel de la réception et les bons conseils du Concierge.

Cons:

L’indiscipline de certains membres du personnel qui ont tendance à prendre leurs aises et raccourcir les temps de services. Par deux fois, nous arrivons et on refuse de nous servir alors que l’heure de fermeture des cuisines n’est pas atteinte. Une fois au bar de la piscine et une fois le soir au restaurant. Et ce malgré l’insistance du personnel de la réception. Dans un cas, ils y ont été contraints et ont obtempéré tout en montrant leur mécontentement. Dans l’autre cas, ils ont tout simplement refusé. Le Manager principal a été réactif et s’est confondu en excuses nous assurant que des mesures organisationnelles seront prises et nous offrant même un dîner, offre que nous avons finalement déclinée.

An Absolute 5-Star Honeymoon at the Bel Air!
We recently completed an incredible short honeymoon at the Bel Air in Sorrento and cannot recommend it highly enough. The hotel is beautifully designed, spotlessly clean, and has a wonderful boutique feel.

From our welcome drink on arrival to our seamless check-in with Naomi and the friendly portering staff, the service was amazing. We were never kept waiting and always got a pool lounger without hassle.

A huge thank you to Jasmine at the pool bar for being so lovely and serving great poolside snacks! The hotel even surprised us with a gorgeous cake and prosecco in our room for our honeymoon.

The location is ideal—a peaceful retreat with beautiful views, just a scenic 15–20 minute walk into the centre, with easy taxis sorted by the staff whenever needed.Dining was a highlight. The daily breakfast was gorgeous with a huge variety, including fresh, made-to-order dishes brought straight to the table. They even provided a lovely packed breakfast to go for our early check-out.

Thank you to the entire Bel Air team for an unforgettable stay. We cannot wait to return!
