Belair: great stay, amazing view, superb souvenirs !
Pros:

The Belair is a very nice hotel with a superb view of the Sorrento bay and the Vesuvio.
The amenities are high class as is the staff.
Attention to details.
Parking available on site when you reserve your spot in advance.
Extremely clean areas and rooms.
Rooms with balconies are really amazing.
Breakfast is an experience in itself ! First the view, second the cold buffet which is out of this world and they offer all the warm stuff off a menu, included if you booked it that way.
The pool is beautiful and maintained at 29C, perfect ! Especially when it’s 35C outside.
A nice and healthy walk will take you to the heart of Sorrento in about 15’ (going downhill) and 20’ uphill. It lands you directly on the Corso Italia with all the activites. Sorrento is a magnificent town, the Belair is up to the task, but at a price. Less than many 5-star Grand Hotels in the center of town, but the view is better.
After many years at a competing hotel by Piazza Tasso (too expensive), we switched to the Belair and we’ll definitely come back.

Cons:

Pricey even after August 15th…. In today’s economy, this may not be for all
It would be great to work some sort of « deal »
like « 3 nights and the 4th half off » ..
Walking to downtown by 35C outside is excruciating ! And it’s still 32C by 9 pm…
A taxi to do the one mile down or up is 20€ which is highway robbery! (Minimum fee they say !) a tourist trap.

The Hotel Belair was a great resort vacation!
Pros:

We loved everything! The room and balcony were exceptional! The views were beautiful!

Cons:

The gym was bad. We both love to workout and it only had a treadmill, bike, one bench, 3 sets of low weights and a weight machine. It really needs more and needs AC in it as well.

Schönes Hotel mit sensationellem Blick auf die Bucht und bis zum Vesuv. Tolles Frühstück mit wahnsinnig aufmerksamen Personal. Das war übrigens das Beste am Hotel, das Personal. Das Zimmer hätte für den Preis etwas hochwertiger sein können

Beautiful 5 Star Hotel. It was our Anniversary and the Hotel left us a lovely note, bottle of Prosecco, and a cake. Wonderful Staff and Gorgeous Accommodations. We will be back!!

My family & I had a wonderful stay at this fabulous hotel.
Pros:

The location of the hotel is excellent, beautiful views across the bay towards Mount Vesuvius. The views from the rooms & terrace are spectacular. We particularly liked the hotel decor with its colourful tiling choices throughout. The staff were friendly & very helpful during our stay. Breakfast was very good with both buffet & cooked breakfast choices. I would highly recommend this hotel if you plan to visit Sorrento.

Overpriced, overrated
Pros:

The view is stunning, pool service and breakfast were okay.

Cons:

Our room had ants, and the outdoor furniture smelled distinctly of sweat. On top of that, they charge a €10 fee just to bring glasses to the room. Much of the staff looked miserable and seemed forced to work there, seems non-EU citizens were made to feel entirely unwelcome.

Sublime hôtel avec une vue époustouflante
Pros:

La vue est époustouflante.
L’hôtel est très beau, les chambres très confortables et le personnel vraiment au top.
L’hôtel est situé en dehors de la ville donc au calme, avec un accès à pieds très facile à Marina Grande et au centre ville
