Ease of check in and check out.
Seemed to be understaffed in the morning. We went to the bar for coffee but there was no staff. We had to enquire at reception.

Friendly, efficient staff on check-in desk. Room was warm, clean and comfortable. Location perfect for the train station where we arrived and also perfect for the Motorpoint Arena where we were attending a concert.
There was nothing to not like about this hotel.
The very warm welcome from the reception staff. The whole hotel was very clean and well appointed. Not far from railway station and city centre. Also ideal for visiting the various football and cricket grounds.
The basin tap was very stiff to turn on. Just made it a bit difficult to use. Other than that there was nothing else not to like.

Absolutely fabulous stay, lovely clean and pristine hotel, everyone was very welcoming especially the reception team. Room was a good size, quiet and relaxing. Would gladly visit again!

Good clean hotel with excellent breakfast.
Car park is quite a distance from the hotel.
Location was excellent for our gig at the Motorpoint arena... maybe 7/8 minutes walk. Room was a good size with a Double and a Single bed, both very clean and comfortable. Lovely breakfast, hot and fresh, and a vegan sausage cooked to order. Reception and resteraunt staff very friendly and helpful with smiley faces 🙂
Room would benifit from having a small fridge for water to be kept in, and fresh milk which we would have preferred to uht. Only complaint is for the kettle.... it is poorly designed and when tilting it to fill our cups the steam burnt out hands.

Well, it was fine, but the night receptionist was very distracted, talking to his friends and colleagues, and didn't return my passport. I realized in the room that they had it. He looked at me, gave me the passport with the face of a white Englishman, someone with a high position among immigrants... haha. He could have just called the room, said, "Here's your passport," and not put me through all that stress...
