I like the Voco staff are always friendly. I use a lot for work and on the weekend I went to a concert the reception staff recognised me.
I had to chase to get my £50 deposit back. This should just happen as standard.
Location, facilities, full length mirror (a small thing but very often lacking in UK hotel rooms), an in room fridge. Hair drier had decent power.
WiFi was easy to connect to.
Staff were friendly, polite and eager to help.
Low key Lighting in the room was great for atmosphere but hopeless for putting on make up.
Some of the dark wood fixtures and fitttings were looking a bit tired in the room.

The location , the rooms were well equipped
The check in was delayed as our booking couldn't be found, our details werefound under the name "Null " ?? , but the staff sorted it after producing date when we booked in and confirmation number. The area for breakfast is very cramped and tables close to the next person , the breakfast food was not very warm at al,l on the verge of cold ! We asked for ours to be microwaved to actually get it up to temp the staff were helpful with this .
Location was brilliant. The beds were comfortable and the room was clean. The breakfast was spot on, great choices.
If there was a negative it would be the road/street noise, but it wasnt bad just noticeable.

Stayed previously several times. On this occasion the breakfast was very poor. We entered breakfast 35 mins before closing and the cooked items were cold, poor taste and not very appealing. Understand they can't be overcooking items to waste but this was not an acceptable breakfast.
Breakfast - only this,,,, as said have stayed several times before and this is the first time we have had an issue
