Great location and hotel overall!
Pros:

Great atmosphere, small but great breakfast, nice/friendly staff, rooms small but well appointed. Location was fantastic!

Cons:

The room darkening curtains didn’t fully reach the wall so the AM light came in. It’s across the street from a bar that was hopping at night which required me to wear ear plugs. Without them I would have been bothered as I’m an extremely light sleeper. Although it didn’t phase my daughter.

Great price, providing exactly what we needed
Pros:

Fabulous location just around the corner from Waterloo. Staff were friendly and helpful. Great price for what we needed.

Cons:

Was a little noisy in the morning, I think this is because our room was next to staff storage cupboards, possibly cleaning.

Schönes Hotel, tolle Lage
Pros:

Sehr freundliches Personal, sauberes Zimmer. Frühstück sehr gut, auch wenn es aus Platzgründen etwas beschränkt war.
Sehr gute Lage.
Die Handtücher sind riesig und flauschig.

Cons:

Die meisten Frühstückstische sind für 2 Personen sehr bzw. zu klein.

Nice staff, but I won't be staying there again.
Pros:

The staff in general were good. They just seamed to be hampered by management not being there. I liked the free access teas and coffees on the landing.

Cons:

To say that there is a restaurant on site is pushing the reality a bit. They have a very small fixed menu, which I suspect was based on frozen ready meals. They were missing ingredients for various cocktails, basic stuff. The breakfast was really not to my liking, if you like a small selection alternative types of breakfast, this is for you, wasn't for me. Not being able to get an invoice printed on site, even after I paid, was a stress. All business trips and expenses in my company have to be supported by correct invoicing, but being emailed one at 12 o'clock the following day after check-out was not appreciated, as at that time I was already in a different country. In my opinion, this isn't a 4 star property, but a very good 3 star. Feels like it's trying to be a Citizen M, but noth really there.
