The whole layout of the hotel was disorganized. The restroom was very far from the pool, which was uncomfortable and inconvenient. The pool area itself felt a bit neglected, the tiles around the edges weren’t clean.

The most important issue for me was the mattress. It was very uncomfortable and too bouncy, and the pillows were old and stiff, not soft or squishy at all. I couldn’t sleep the whole night because of the mattress, and I woke up with neck pain.

The location was okay, but it could definitely be in a better area. Overall, the appliances and furniture felt outdated.

We had a two night stay and everything went well. My husband had more contact with the staff than I did but the room was clean, the beach view was perfect. We were on the corner. The kids enjoyed having access to the indoor pool.

Pros:

The rooms refrigerator door was broken and the dish washer. We were not able to watch TV. Called the desk and they sent someone who could not help. Expedia did not even have my name on the list for Avista Resort. The staff was really nice. We never received room service. We had to take trash and ask for towels. The room was cool enough but the bedroom was uncomfortably hot.

It wouldn't let me say the staff that helps with suitcases up to your room worry the nicest people you can meet there was dark and Brian and another guy and the death people were nice except for one lady She was a rude person I wished I would have got her name so I could report her they don't have a breakfast or like complimentary coffee anywhere think they should offer like discount meals while you're there for everyone. I did enjoy everything else the music everything The room I had was perfect...

This place is a rip off. The rooms are much smaller than advertised. Ours had a murphy bed but when you get to the room you can't even open it without having to put furniture out onto the balcony. The counter is so tiny you can literally make one sandwich on it and the beds were SO HARD. we asked to be moved to a bigger room and I was willing to pay more. The staff was not helpful, said they were completely booked but judging by the parking deck that was not real and we eventually had to get an airbnb across the street. The pool had no umbrellas and the place was a bit of a mess. I would not stay here again.

The dishwasher didn’t work, the bathroom door didn’t lock, one of the stove eyes was broken, the microwave didn’t warm up food properly. Light went out in the bathroom. We was giving a broken room, I seen my other family members rooms and it looked completely different from our room!
