Pros:

Entgegen anderer Bewertungen haben wir alles in bestem Zustand vorgefunden. Die Zimmer (mit Balkon) und das Bad sind super sauber und in der Qualität eines 4 Sterne Hauses. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und würden das Hotel wieder wählen.

Golden Tulip Hotel - Porto Gaia
Pros:

Loved the big, clean ocean facing room and huge solarium with patio furniture. The big windows worked and I was able to sun myself in January! Beds were clean and comfy and bathroom and shower were fantastic, lots of hot water and great pressure. Fridge was a little dated but I turned it up and then it worked fine. I was able to get English movies on the flat screen. The food at the Casa Branca restaurant was great though I would like to see the lights lowered somewhat for evening dining. Would love to see the back entrance and also the Champagne Club refurbished/reopened -- it looks like it was quite the spot back in the day!

Cons:

The pool area downstairs looked a bit dated and forlorn, there was no jacuzzi and the saunas were dark. I brought my swimsuit but didn't really feel like getting in. However, the hotel being right on the beach and being able to walk for what seemed like miles in either direction was a huge bonus. There's also a great supermarket nearby and lots of cafes on the boardwalk. It was not nearly as isolated as the booking.com review made it out to be - lots of families out walking and eating and playing and enjoying the weather. Overall I would return and would recommend to my friends.

BAÑO ANTIGUO, DUCHA FIJA E INCOMODA PARA BAÑARSE, LAVABO AGUA CALIENTE PIERDE FUERZA.
NOS DEJABAN LAS VENTANAS SEMI ABIERTAS CUANDO HACIAN LA HABITACIÓN Y AL LLEGAR HACIA FRIO EN LA MISMA.
ILUMINACIÓN POBRE, NO HABÍA UNA LUZ CENTRAL QUE ILUMINARA MEJOR, HABIA UNA LAMPARA ANTIGUA DE PIE, QUE ILUMINABA POCO.
SOLO NOS DIERON UNA TARJETA POR HABITACIÓN.
TENIAMOS MEDIA PENSIÓN Y HABÍA QUE SALIR DEL HOTEL PARA IR A CENAR.
LA MEDIA PENSION, CONSISTÍA EN 2 PRIMEROS Y 2 SEGUNDOS, SIN OPCION A CAMBIAR, Y ERA DIFICIL COMER ALGO CORRECTO

L'hotel si trova in una bellissima posizione, e devo dire che le camere sono molto capienti.

Cons:

La colazione, anzitutto cosiglio di cambiare i tavoli che sono i più economici ed i più scomodi al mondo, spesso si sbatte con i ginocchi contro e si ribalta quello che c'è sul tavolo. Il personale di sala inesistente, mettono fuori i prodotti di qualità molto bassa alle 7 di mattina, e se finiscono non c'è nessuno a cui domandare un bicchiere d'acqua. Credo che l'albergo con qualche miglioria possa avere potenzialità ma devono mettere più attenzione al cliente e al servizio.

It was nice.
Pros:

Great view, for those with ocean side rooms. Breakfast was sumptuous and one of the best views of any breakfast rooms. The property does not have a ramp, so if you have heavy suitcases, it is a bit tough to negotiate the climb. WIFI is anemic - but there... but then again why do you need WIFI when you ought to be up and about? (Ans: To check on flight status etc).

Cons:

The location... practically on the beach.

Localização fabulosa, mas necessita de uma remodelação urgente

Cons:

Falta de manutenção, Hotel muito velho e degradado, elevador ficou preso com pessoas lá dentro. O bar muito velho e sem estar a trabalhar, todo o edificio necessita de uma remodelação geral e atualização. Os sensores do parque de estacionamento não funcionam e para abertura necessitamos ir à recepão. A localização é fabulosa, mas tudo o resto necessita de uma remodelação.
