Elegant and relaxing
Pros:

Upgraded to an Ocean view room which was large and beautiful. Welcome from check in was lovely and desk staff were always on point and ready to help. Pool areas lovely to relax in, design of the hotel is spacious and feels like old world elegance with its spacious breezy corridors. Loved the walking proximity to La Caleta.

Cons:

Minor, but there was no need for the pool aerobics instructor to have a megaphone - it was very distracting for an hour every day and made it harder to read and relax.

Tolle Anlage mit toller Küche...
Pros:

Wir hatten wünderschönes Zimmer mit Meerblick und Terrasse in einer "Villa". Alles perfekt und großzügig. Tolles hauskeeping. Frühstück und abendbuffet sehr reichlich und hochwertig. Liegen an den pools etwas gedrängt aber ok.

Cons:

Bei offenen Fenster doch starker strassen Lärm morgens...

Lovely hotel
Pros:

Location is excellent. 10 minutes walk to the beach. It is uphill back from beach
Large bedroom and large bathroom. I was very impressed with the room even though it was dated.
The reception, gym and all the open areas were very nice
Very comfy bed
Excellent breakfast - great selection of fruits
Clarins shower products
Spar shop at end of hill to get water etc
Pool area was lovely. Also a reasonably priced pool bar and the food looked good but we didn’t eat
Excellent well equipped modern gym
Staff very helpful
Couldn’t get a late check out but we got a courtesy room which worked perfectly to shower and change.
I’d stay here again.

Cons:

Rooms are dated, with mahogany style furniture & old pictures on the walls - but I was aware of this from reading reviews - it wouldn’t stop me from staying here again
You have to pay extra to use Spa pool facilities
We ran out of shower gel and toilet paper
Noise off air conditioning unit
I’d ask for a room not beside the road

Unforgettable, will miss this hotel on my next holiday elsewhere.
Pros:

Everything i could report back on exceeded my expectations. Room was superb, facilities were spotless, features were exactly as hoped for. Pools numerous, breakfasts vast, staff were accommodating and faultless.

Cons:

If i have to be extremely critical, the maids visited the room multiple times a day. However, this is in fact a positive, if you are staying at the property just make sure you use the do not disturb sign effectively.
