Location, quite rooms, comfortable bed, good shower - when working
Shower problems. Stairs in suite separating bed from bathroom - very tricky to use during the night. Needs a small handrail. Breakfast was chaotic - nobody seemed to be in charge with interaction with guests non existent. Difficult to find a clean table, buffet left with empty dishes and next to impossible to place an order for non buffet items. This was with 90 mins to go before breakfast closed. Took 20mins and three requests to order a cappuccino. The quality of breakfast items was excellent when available. Just needed someone to speak with guests proactively and ensure they are satisfied. The personal touch always helps.

l'insonorisation entre les chambres clairement, nous avons "vécu" avec la télévision de notre voisin de 7h30 du matin à 23h.

My girlfriend and I stayed at the Vincci Soho last December before Christmas and really wanted to let the experience settle in our minds before writing a review, wanting to keep it informative and helpful for others interested in a stay here. My girlfriend has the following to share:
The highlights:
- We stayed in a suite which was on a quiet wing of the building and had great heating for the cold nights of December in Madrid.
- Housekeeping was diligent and the rooms were very tidy and nice to come back to after a day of touristing.
- Plenty of essentials for women travelers (lighted makeup mirror, powerful blow dryer and two desks and a bathroom vanity gave plenty of space).
- The Clarins bath products were an excellent brand partnership choice and I even purchased the shower gel myself when I arrived home.
The downside (starting here as lack of space below):
Unfortunately, all of that was overshadowed at the end of the stay when, while waiting for our car to the airport and sitting deep in the hotel's lower floor lobby near the elevator bank, unbeknownst to us, two thieves working in tandem were casing the guests and I ended up being the target of a purse snatching/ theft.
My partner stepped away to use the restroom and I was alone attending to all of our luggage. One of the thieves used a distraction, dropping coins loudly near me, to divert my attention while the second man grabbed my handbag and placed it in a tote bag out of my sightline, and then they both briskly walked past the one security(?) guard (?) and out of the hotel. I clocked it almost immediately, my stomach dropped and I knew what must have happened when I turned my head and my bag was gone. I ran out of the hotel and chased them down several blocks with the outside crowd's help. I ran until one of them eventually dropped the bag and kept running, and I was granted a huge blessing from fate as the bag had my life in it (as you can imagine, when traveling to catch your flight).

I thanked the people in the street that helped me and when I returned to the hotel my boyfriend was standing in the lobby concerned I was gone when he returned from the bathroom and all of our luggage was sitting unattended. I, in total shock, explained to him what happened and he was, of course, furious.
We were standing right in front of the check in desk and he tried to bring to their attention what had just happened and they - looked away. When he insisted, they didn't ask if I was ok, or instruct us to call the authorities, or offer to assist in any way. The woman at the desk simply said, "It's not our responsibility." We were incredulous that they didn't seem to care that a guest was just robbed in their hotel! It was the most unnatural, maybe conspiratorial, response to someone in distress trying to point out something that might have other guests still in danger. It was shocking really. We tried to push the issue but were met with shrugs and I finally said to him "they don't care" so we got in our car and left for the airport.
So... I don't know what else to say other than understand if something bad happens during your stay you're likely on your own. Based on our experience, the lobby (and by extension the lobby bathrooms, hallways, stairwell near the front, etc.) are not safe spaces and it would be good if they put up very visible signs warning guests that nothing that happens there is their responsibility. But if you do enjoy stealing things, then it's probably an excellent place to stay because it's a target rich environment and based on our experience the staff doesn't seem to really care what you do. It was not the experience or professionalism you'd expect from a mid-luxury hotel so I personally won't be staying there again.
