Gut, aber nicht perfekt
Pros:

Die Lage vom Hotel ist einmalig, erhaben thront es über Königswinter und erlaubt es einem, den Blick schweifen zu lassen. Die Ausstattung im gesamten Hotel ist gehoben und geschmackvoll - von der Lobby übers Restaurant bis hin zum Zimmer. Nichts ist abgenutzt oder kaputt, heute schon fast unüblich. Das Personal am Empfang war nett und sehr zuvorkommend. Allgemein ein älteres und ruhiges Publikum (50+).

Cons:

Die Anfahrt zum Hotel ist durch die Lage etwas zeitaufwendig, mal eben kurz in den Ort überlegt man sich schon zweimal. Entsetzt war ich über die Parkraumsituation vor Ort: es gibt nur eine winzige Tiefgarage die zum Hotel gehört und die komplett überfüllt war (Luxusschlitten auf Behindertenparkplätzen...). Die Freifläche wird privat bewirtschaftet und ist 24h kostenpflichtig (12 Euro am Tag). Vorsicht: keine unserer Kreditkarten wurde erkannt - es kann nur mit Kleingeld bezahlt werden. Ein Schelm, wer böses dabei denkt! Enttäuschend war das Frühstücksbuffet: die Auswahl ist zwar groß, aber die Qualität nur Durchschnitt. Kaffee muss man sich selber am Vollautomaten holen. In einem 5-Sterne Haus hätte ich mir Tischservice erwartet.

Great weekend stay!
Pros:

The hotel building is impressive and has a lot of history, the location is fantastic overseeing the Rhine river. You can go for very nice hikes trough the woods. The food was great in the hotel's restaurants. Breakfast had both a la carte and buffet menus.

Cons:

Unfortunately, not all of the saunas were functional during our visit. Additionally, be aware that the parking around the premises is not managed by the hotel. We mistakenly assumed we could settle the parking fee at check-out and ended up with a fine!

Im Augenblick tiefster Depression, werden wir auf dem Petersberg übernachten!
Pros:

Sehr zuvorkommendes Personal. Schon beim Einchecken konnten wir die Freundlichkeit und die grenzenlose Geduld des Concierge bewundern. Das gesamte Hotel ist zauberhaft und großzügig eingerichtet . Ich habe immer an die Geschichte der Bundesrepublik gedacht, die man auf Schritt und Tritt spürt. Das Restaurant bietet eine außergewöhnliche großartige Küche, und das gesamte Personal hat einmalige Anerkennung verdient.

Cons:

Es hat tatsächlich an nichts gefehlt.

Ein wirklich schöner Aufenthalt.
Pros:

Alles in diesem Hotel und dem ganzen Anwesen gibt einem das Gefühl, an einem geschichtsträchtigen Ort zu sein. Und das ist er auch. Der Ausblick vom Petersberg über Königswinter und den Rhein, dem Drachenfels und dem Siebengebirge ist wirklich wunderbar. Wir hatten die Frühlingssonne im Zimmer und wirklich hervorragend geschlafen. Der Spa Bereich, hatte alles was man braucht um zu entspannen. Das Restaurant war gut, das Frühstück sehr gut. Wir würden jederzeit wieder hier übernachten.

Cons:

Wir hatten nichts zu beanstanden und haben uns sehr willkommen gefühlt.

Pros:

Das Hotel befindet sich in einer atemberaubenden Lage und das Zimmer, in welchem wir untergebracht wurden, war sehr schön, sauber und gepflegt. Das Personal ist äußerst hilfsbereit und sehr freundlich.

Cons:

Der Wellnessbereich ist für ein so großes Hotel sehr klein, ins Alter gekommen und lässt insgesamt für ein 5-Sterne Hotel sehr zu wünschen übrig. Die Backwaren des Frühstücks sind eine Katastrophe! Hier sollte aus unserer Sicht qualitativ schnellstens etwas passieren. Diese haben nicht einmal 1 Stern verdient. Weiterhin fanden wir das vegane Angebot insgesamt wenig und qualitativ schlecht.
